Got multiple calls from this number, but they never leave a message.  Do not answer if no caller ID shows.  Have no idea who they are.

This number is for the self activation service for Comcast Cable. However it should not make outbound calls. That's odd that you would receive a call from this number, unless you had dialed it prior.

This number called this afternoon. No message left. Research shows this number is Comcast's self-activation line. I just signed up with Comcast, but not sure why their self-activation number would be calling me?

I called Comcast, and their automated service had an option to request a return a call instead of asking me to hold. This was the number through which they returned the call.
