I have had THREE call from this number in the last 3 hours. I answered every time. It was silent for a second then the phone hung up. Every single time.

Answered but no one responded then they hung up.

They've called me twice now.  It comes up as "American Water" on my cell phone.  I answered the first time and it went straight to hold music, interrupted every 10-15 seconds with an IVR apologizing for "long hold times," and assuring me that "my call was very important to us."  Funny, since THEY called ME.  Also, this raised some red flags as I am an experienced call center agent and the telephony was off, as the IVR should NOT be apologizing for "long wait times" every 10-15 seconds: it's supposed to be every two minutes.  The hold music was weird, too.  It was like there were two songs that alternated, but didn't play for more than a few seconds each.  The second time, they left a message, but again it was the IVR saying to "call back regarding (my) account."  Nope, not going to do that.  I suspect this is a scam call.

Keeps calling and when I answer it is completely silent. They have called several times and each time I answer there is completely silent.
