This is the number left by an anonymous caller to let me know I’m being served papers at work on Monday between 9am and 2 pm. Who does this?!

I got a similar call claiming to be from my county dispatch & that they need to issue me legal docs.  I called the number this AM at about 7:15 & there was no pick-up.  I was fairly certain it was a scam but wanted to see if there would be a VM pick-up.

I received a call on my home and cell phone from this number claiming to be Process Service Dispatch or Process service Verifications saying they had legal documents to serve reference a case number; however when I tried to look up said number to see who the paperwork is from there is NO LISTING....confused....usually civil paperwork is served by the Sheriff's department so it does not make sense to me right now.

I called number back and the guy that answered was rude, calling me names and wouldn't answer any questions

I RECEIVED 2 CALLS AT WORK TODAY!! A very abrupt woman said she was from the Process Service Dispatch or Process service Verifications Dept and they wanted to know if I’d be at home or work to get served!!  Completely flustered, and in panic mode- I called the Attorney’s office she told me wasnbamdling the case.  I thought a stupid payday loan from my past (he said 2014) was catching up with me, and I didn’t want this to get out of control.  I’ve been scrambling to come up with the $430 tomorrow to pay-  ARE YOU TELLING ME THIS IS A SCAM!?!?!  The abrupt woman gave this 8557184130 # to call and resolve.

Yes, this is a scam! Real process servers don't call in advance and they don't give you the option to pay your way out of being served. Do not give them any money! Demand they follow the law by mailing you proof of the debt.

I received a call today from this number (855) 718-4130, they also called my employer and my daughter.  I called my local court house and they said it was a scam because it would come certified and in the mail.  I turned this into the Federal Trade Commission so they can look into it.  The guys name was Tony Winters, I have lived in the same place for over 10 years if they wanted to deliver it to me they should know where to find me.

Today these people called again to my home and my cell number, my son's cell number, and who knows who else...left the message that my ex husband and his new wife who I have not talked with in almost twenty years could sign for my certified legal documents because I was being served for property debt from a person who said they were with Process Server Dispatch and that they are going to be served at my son's home address.  They left a number of 855-718-4130 but on home and cell they come up as an unknown or a restricted caller.  Wouldn't a legit person or business have a listed number and why would they go through a list of family members unless they were some sort of "hacker" trying to steal information that isn't even correct.  I haven't had a credit card in over five years or even used one since 2012.  Isn't it against the law to harass other family members?  How do these people get stopped for what they are doing to people's lives.

I received a call, so did my husband and work.  Said the same thing wanting to serve papers.  I called the Federal Trade Commisssion and they told me not to call them back it was a scam.  I hope they get these crooks.

Do not pay. More likely then not it isn’t anything you are LEGALLY obligated to pay, nor can it affect your credit.

I have 2 missed calls from this number asking for a Cynthia Guillen but that's not me saying that they gonna issue legal papers or something like that. That if I didn't complied I would have legal issues but I never answer so they just leave voice mails. The person who called me was a Victoria Castillo

A series of calls to my cell phone over the past two days. Called my work number today and asked to speak to me. Stated name was Steve Ashley and they were representing the county. When I asked what county they could not pronounce it. Asked for a call back number and gave me 855-718-4130. When I informed they that they were representing a scam, they said they they were Mexican which was why they could not pronounce the county. Don't know many Mexicans name Steve Ashley! Called the number and questioned the individual who answered. Asked who their company was and he replied "Michael and Associates". He asked for a reference number. When I advised him that I was reporting the scam he became rather indignant.

Scam. I work for a process serving company and they are calling us with a fake case number. Let them call back one more time....I dare you. Your call will be transferred to our local sheriffs office.

Called me at work and at home. Had my first name right, but not the last name. Spoke to Javier Rodriguez of Michaels & Associates. Told them they're idiots. Googled the phone number and found this site.

Same exact calls I received, my daughter received and my mother.  All in a matter of a couple hours. These people are slick, scam artists, losers, get a real job.
Do not send money!!!!
Warn your elders of these type of calls.

Called my work today saying they wanted to serve me papers. I called them back and they said it was for a MasterCard I never owned. Name of contact was Nicole James but I couldn’t talk to her because she’s in another building. I told the guy that answered that I’ll see him in court . He hung up on me. It’s a scam!

Continue to get phone calls/voicemails from a restricted number leaving this number to contact for papers that are being served to me.  First it was there will be papers served and two attempts will be tried.  This time it was there was a failed attempt so one more time and they will take legal action.  There were people at my house and work all day so where did they try to serve them?  SCAM!!!  I also called the number once and didn't give them any info (blocked my number also) and just asked them some questions. The guy who answered the phone got very testy and rude and told me that if I didn't want to give him my info then good luck to me.  OK...Good Luck To Me! ...click!

Collection agent. I have a revolving credit card account from eight years ago from when my small business went under. After eight years they want to collect and threatened jail and garnishment. I told the man he could not garnish a revolving credit account and he got loud and then slammed the phone down on me. I asked why would a legitimate business block their phone number  and got loud again. [***] !

If you read the other posts, you'd see that this is a fake process server scam.  Ignore the calls or block the number, and do NOT pay them.
