My screen has been "captured" by a screen full of various warning windows, and this phone number.  A voice recording is telling me that my computer is infected with trojan viruses that are also infecting microsoft servers.  And do not turn off or restart my computer, but call the phone number.  No idea whether this is real or a scam.  I was using Edge browser.

Absolutely a scam.  Do not call that number or else your computer will have problems.  Disconnect from the internet.  Shut down the computer.  Restart and don't let the tabs reopen.  Clear the cache, cookies, and history.  Then reconnect to the internet and the first thing that you need to do is find and install an adblocker.  If you can't find one for Edge then switch to either Firefox or Opera.
