Spam call saying someone is accessing your Amazon account from two places. When you CB they try to sell you some bs online security crap

Message left on machine stating my amazon account has been hacked and was trying to buy a gift card for $1000.00.  Was told I must call immediately to stop this hacker and get security put on my computer to stop this from happening again.

Left a message that started out in the middle of a sentence.  Someone had used my Amazon account from two different locations, and I needed to call them back to stop the fraud.  If only there were some way to stop these scumbags!

Received automated call saying that my Amazon card was being used fraudulently in two locations. It provided a number to call back. I did not call them I called the number on the back of my card. There was no fraudulent activity.

"If you do not recognize this activity call"....I can think of an activity I would like to perform!

They are saying that my IP address has been compromised and they are a security company.  Someone in Ohio is trying to get a $1000 gift card through my Amazon Account.  They wanted to know what devices I use at home to access the internet.  Very evasive!

This makes me sick.  When my husband got the message, he actually called these people back and allowed them access to MY computer.  What do I do now?

Get same message from different phone numbers. I called Amazon, they said my account was secure.

A "Data Security Team" called re my Amazon Account being accessed from two different locations.  This was the 3rd time I had received such a call.  I did not call back but looked up the phone no. on the Internet to learn it was a scam by a security company trying to make sales.
