Left a message saying there was a personal complaint against me and that it's a time sensitive matter. If I don't respond they will proceed without me. I called back 3 times and the number came up disconnected, then when on the fourth try answer machine answered as kenwood and associate's. I'm calling them tomorrow and see what the hell, sounds like they are scammers.

Don't bother aggravating yourself.  These are known extortionists.

Possibly this group.  Can't find anything with either the California Secretary of State or the BBB.  Long history of scamming on 800notes.  Ignore and block.

They claimed that a notice of intent had been issued and that I should follow up with them. I believe they were attempting to steal either my identity or defraud me as they became quite belligerent and angry when I tried to ask who they were. When I called in, they answered the phone with "Corporate". I asked who the company was and they refused to answer. Then when I told them that I believed they were a fraudulent company the man on the phone actually asked me if I was calling with a bomb threat!? I'm not sure if this is some tactic they use to scare people. Of course I wasn't calling with a bomb threat? Why would he even ask that? It must be some
effort to scare people from calling in?

Either way, after answer as "corporate" the person who answered the phone clearly "transferred" me right back to himself. It was the SAME person - Michael, he claimed. He then berated me, called me a liar, threatened to report me to some government agency and then hung up on me when I tried to figure out who he was. At first I believed the company MAY be legitimate so I was trying to figure out what was going on. After it seemed so fishy, I called back and they answered "Corporate" again and that's when I realized that it was the same guy - "Michael". I asked what company he worked for and that's when he kept making claims about me calling in with a "bomb threat".

These people are clearly scammers and should be investigated.

Called. Definitely scammers. They kept asking for a "case #" after telling me the name was Kenwood & Assoc, I told them I wasn't going to provide one & I just wanted their name, then the guy on the line said "that's why I didn't give you the right company name". Don't bother wasting your time. :)

Just got the same call with same script.
The caller used the phrase:  "They are scheduled to make a final attempt at your residence within 2 business days... GOOD LUCK ! "
Can I consider that statement as a threat against my property or personal safety?
I'm calling local police to inform them.

Called them back after their second call, hoping to stop the calls, since I have no account with them.
Female falsely claimed they don't harass anyone and she started babbling that I was the one who was threatening her.
Don't waste your time with them.  If they really had good reason to speak with you, they wouldn't be so rude.

Yes, that's them.  They just admitted it to me at the posted phone number.

I called them back and asked to be taken Off their list and man of non white ancestry started yelling at me that there is no list, so I said a less than professional 4 letter word and hung up.  He then called me back 4 times and I ignored the call every time.   There is no number or caller ID when they call.  They have also called my family members trying to collect on an old debt they are re-aging.  I had problems 8 yrs ago, everything has been cleared from my credit reports.  These people buy old unpaid debt that has been cleared, charged off or dismissed then use threatening tatxtics to get money from people. That's how they make money,   They buy old debt for pennies on the dollar then jack up what was originally owed by claiming additional fees and costs and that's how they live. They have no civility. They are loud, rude, threatening. Intimidating, over bearing and mean.  Be aware of your credit reports and what's on them. Check your credit report and monitor it  do not give into these thugs.   Even the women are rude, loud  and nasty.  You should hear the message a woman left for me
