Calling three or four times a day over the last week.

They allow the call to ring until the answering machine picks up - and then do not leave a message.

I received a call from "TELUS" was told the want to install Fibre, that they would rip up my lawn but not put it back together again and they would send over a Technician right away.  This was at 19:30 - really, that late they are coming over???  And the person on the phone from TELUS "Edna" was very pushy, aggressive.  I told her I'm not making any decisions now, she said to call 1-855-755-2822.  I called TELUS right after this call at 310-2255 and they confirmed it is ligit that it is TELUS.  Then I talked with friends and family and 2 people said they got the Optic but ended up with big holes in their lawns which TELUS never fixed.

Telus wanting me to switch to Fibre Optic - meanwhile suddenly slowing my old internet speed down significantly, cutting out and hard to log one.

This number called me twice within an hour.  Rang until my voicemail kicked in and they did not leave message.  If it was Telus, I  don't understand the switch to pure fiber optic because they had done upgrades in our area less than 2 years ago.  I hope they aren't planning on digging up my yard and increasing my costs every 2 years.  Anyway, if they don't leave a message and I  don't recognize the number, I  am  blocking it.

This is truly a call from Telus.  I did not pick up but they did leave a message and I called them back.  You can read about the “upgrade” at telus.com/fibreupgrade.  I don’t have Telus internet - just a landline so I don’t need enhanced speed.  I told them I would think about it and I planned to block their phone number.  They acknowledged that the call display number looked like a scam number.  I asked them to stop calling but they said my request could take weeks.

Has been calling repeatedly - I haven’t answered because my call display shows only this number & no name. They finally left a voicemail this afternoon. It was very hard to understand due to man’s heavy accent & background noise at call centre, but he advised we call back the number to upgrade our home’s optic lines from copper. Didn’t even leave company’s name in voicemail. I see from other posts & from an internet search of the phone number that it belongs to Telus. Won’t be returning call.

A woman left a message around 5:30pm yesterday purporting to be from Telus, saying our "home service" was being phased out and to call 1-855-755-2822 to discuss options.  I didn't trust she was from Telus so have googled and found this ongoing post.  There has been no notification on my Telus bills about my home service (whichever service she's talking about) being phased out.  I won't be calling her back.

They have called repeatedly and left a message finally.
The woman‘S  accent was so heavy I had to listen to message a # of times. I have a call back request for Telus to confirm what this is about.

She said I did not activate my hone service. She called my lan line, so it’s activated.

Very irritating, and other posts indicate it’s for fibre optics.

Is that necessary for phone services?

I received a message that it was important to call back as Telus was phasing out copper and I would have to change to fibre optic.  I do not use Telus for my TV or internet as the salespeople are soooooo annoying!  When the woman left a number to call, I hardly understood her and was anxious that I would be without phone service.  Now I find that it is a robocall and won't be bothering with them.

I have received 4-5 calls from this number in the last week. I’ve ignored it because I don’t recognize the number however today there were 2 voice messages.  One from a woman and one from a man.  They were both very hard to understand and I had to listen to the messages a few times.  Both were stating I had to switch to fibre optic and needed to set up an appointment right away. Left a phone number and a website to check.  I still cannot figure out the Telus website, they spoke so poorly and quickly.  I see the website in a comment above.  I’ll check it out.

It is the Indian Tele-Scammers back in business again as Telus Does NOT use Call Centers in India. How do I know?  They called me on my non Telus Mobile, its number for which Telus does Not have.  Telus's Canadian Call centers NEVER Cold Call people who do not have Telus numbers as far as I am aware of.

Telus they said I NEEDED to upgrade my to pure fiber, so I set up the time and date guy shows up all was good. Then he says there was more than a quick install due to the age of the house and current data lines. Telus told me it was a must, and yet they had no idea how long this was going to take? The tech then tells me my are has at least two years before it is even and issue and we shook hands and he left. For a communication company they suck at communication between departments.

I believe I already have Optic Fibre so I'm not sure why I am getting this call. No caller ID also left me very suspicious.

On Sept 21st Telus called me 5 times throughout the day from this number 855-755-2822.  On the 5th call I answered and spoke with a very pleasant female clerk calling from Delta BC.  I was able to get her to put me on Telus "Don't call list" so I would suggest this to others should you get any calls from Telus.  The call was trying to get me to switch from my existing copper line to Fibre Optik. I declined.

So they are making illegal sales calls and now you think that they are going to stop calling?
