I got a call from this number tonight (left a message) It was supposedly someone from a New York State law office who was looking to prosecute someone for fraudulent checks. The person they were looking for does not live here, and when I returned the call it went to a personal answering machine for some family. Seems like a scam to me.

I got a call from them saying he was a Process Server and I had two hours to call 855-756-2614 or I would be served for attempting to defraud a financial institution and passing bad check.  I said what is this about.  He said well I thought you knew.  I said no.  He said "umm well I don't know umm you just need to call this number".  I said well I didn't defraud any one and I don't know what this is so I asked for his Process Server Id Number - its bogus.  I told him that you usually don't get a phone call prior to being served.  They just show up.  He said "well I don't they just wanted me to call".  I just ok and took down the number.  Next time I will know to say they have the wrong number.

Its fraud This company poses as a collection agency called NCS litigation. I just got a call they been calling work, family and friends making all kinds of unlawful threats saying I owe money for a payday loan company. Funny thing was they didn't know I work for a payday loan company myself and know what the laws on collecting a loan and making collection calls. When I spoke to the lady quoting the laws she became angry. She said she will be serving me I stated I will be waiting. My family and friends have been receiving calls for the past month saying they were going to come down to my home and work in 2 hrs to serve me if I didn't call back. I'm still waiting on those 2 hrs I knew it was a scam right away within my company we get updated on every scam out there to protect our customers on not getting scammed with false info. If you look up California fair debt collection act ( which I live in California) you'll find out they are doing everything unlawful to scare you to pay them money. Don't be fooled by this scam look under NCS litigation scams on the internet and you'll find soooo many familiar stories. You can file a complaint with the state Attorney General's Public Inquiry unit. Another sad company tried to scam innocent people out of their hard earned money

This company called my job last week Friday saying that I defrauded some company n I have 2 hours to call back or I will b served a summons. I work on a military base so n all of my seargents r aware of this situation n are aware of this. This bogus company will not even make it past the guard shack.
