- bill| 7 repliesThey call regarding a rate reduction on my Verizon bill and now I'm saving $200/month!
- Caller: Verizon enterprise telecommunications
- MJG replies to bill| 6 repliesReally?? And how is that savings possible? Considering the 855 area code is loaded with scammers I would like to know.
- bill replies to MJG| 5 repliesWell, the phone call was from a partnered agent of Verizon. The representative was great as far as customer service. My business now runs through Verizon's Virtual communications Express. I have been over-paying for the last several years. With the new service, I'm now paying $35/per phone line.. unlimited everything... best part...No contract!
- BigA replies to bill| 4 repliesThat sounds like a great savings, what is the name of this company?
- anonymous replies to BigA| 3 repliesI talked to the supervisor, seems they are legit. The company is Norcross and Associates. I actually spoke with their Verizon channel manager to see if they were actually connected with Verizon.
- Slim replies to anonymous>> The company is Norcross and Associates <<
So, you called the 855 scam number, and they told you they were really not scammers, eh?
Did they pay you much to shill for them?
Y'see, Norcross and Associates is the name of a legal firm in Dallas, TX
That is also the name for a company that has ONE review on a little-known site, and supposedly has something to do with Verizon FIOS
Further investigation reveals no other company with that name, but there IS a Ripoff Report about something similar, stating:
"This company claims to be an authorized agent of Verizon, but I am sure Verizon would backtrack that relationship if they were aware of lack of integrity and ethics being handled "on their behalf" by this unscrupulous company. "

If my research was in error, please tell us the name, address and website for this "Norcross and Associates" - BigA replies to anonymous| 1 replyWell I was thinking of calling them to see if they could lower my bill. It is very expensive, around $472.00 a month. Now after reading that I am not so sure. Is there someplace on the web I can go to see what they offer, a website, a BBB review, something on Verizon's page (I looked there but didn't know how to find out about this company). I checked and can get any Verizon service they offer here at my house so if there is a way to save money and get their excellent service I would jump on it in an instant.
- at a guess? They are calling people who disconnecting verizon i droves due to the upcoming frontier merger, & using the pre existing "business relationship" (like you had a choice back when you got gte or nuthin) as a dnc workaround.& yes, verizon/frontier wont hesitate to use less than ethical telemarketing firms.id even wager that the law firm noted above has an interest in the deal
- Mike Mc| 1 replyI was called by this number. They asked for my account number after telling me my debt card was frozen. I called my bank and no card had been frozen. Beware!!!! That number is dirty.
- Caller: No name
- dont think soGot a call from 855-756-4683 Sunday around 7am. I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer it but they left a message so I listened to it and it said, "We regret to inform you that your Master Card debit card has been lost. If you'd like to reactivate it press 1." I have NOT lost any debit card. Obviously this is a scam.
- Spin replies to Mike McSame as Mike MC...they called 6:30 AM Sunday morning and said the same thing - our Mastercard was 'locked'. Just hung up. This is not even the contact number we use for any of our bills, so I'm thinking it's not legit.
- SCAM ALERTGot a call before 7am on Sun 8/23. Didn't recognize the number, didn't answer. Got a V/M within seconds. Computer voice saying my debit Mastercard has been lost/deactivated. Checked the wallet on my nightstand, and not only is my debit card in it, it's a Visa. THIS IS A SCAM. If you're unsure, call your bank directly.
- Dash| 1 replySame as all of the above posts. Just received a 7:15 am, Sunday morning "debit MasterCard is locked" phonce call that i received as a voicemail message; I don't answer unknown numbers. These wacko random scammer calls just get creepier and more devious. And at least some people are falling for it, or they wouldn't keep dialing... Grrr
- Caller: ?
- Dash replies to DashPS - I do not have any MasterCard's. WTF?!
- AnonymousSCAM! Computer voice left a message regarding my MasterCard being frozen and to call them. Joke is on them, I have NO MasterCard. BEWARE! Any endorsements on this phone number IS false.
- Caller: Did not leave a name
- NothereThis company automated caller said my MC was being used fraudulently. They said the were Lockhart and Associates representing Premiere Verizon Solution Provider. Then said dial extension if it is known, or press zero for operator. Press zero, rings and then says all lines are busy, call back later.
- Caller: Lockhart and Associates
- The PoPo855-756-4683 is a total scam! Do not press anything, do not talk to anyone, do not press any buttons and most importantly do not give them any information. They called and left a voicemail on my cell phone saying my master card was locked and press 1 to be transferred to card services. I didn't press one and I didn't call them back. Instead I called my bank and reported this fraudulent number. I will also be calling the Attorney Generals office, the FTC, the BBB and any other government department to report these crooks! They are only trying to get your card information to be able to hack it and take your money. Ignore the call - it is a phishing scam! Oh yeah, and BTW, my debit card is a Visa - so big clue there that these people are crooks!
- Caller: Phone Phishing Scam!!!!
- RobinGot a call from Norcross & Assoc. They said our Verizon account is due for renewal, and they can save us money. They do not work for Verizon. If we have an issue with Verizon, we can call them directly.
- Caller: 855-756-4683
- Call type: Telemarketer
- BAsked for the person in charge of the Verizon account. They got an old voice mail of someone who doesn't work here anymore because that's the line that gets all of these crap calls dumped into it.
- Caller: part of Verizon but not really
- Call type: Telemarketer
- What part of SCAM do you not understand? replies to BigAOr are you a paid shill too?
