They said they were collecting 2000.00 from me and outting a lien on my house, I must go to court and they was sending a warrant out for my arrest. Then gave me a document number.

I just received a call very similar to this.  I spoke with 3 different people one of them was named Edward Blake.

Jenkins law firm wanted $1127 from me. Told me the was a warrant for my arrest. I told them that i would be happy to pay my debts put i need document mailed to my home they offered you send me an email. They said they are not a collections firm that they don't send documents or papers. That's when I hanged up

Scam company.

Received a call from them on 6/8 stating that I owed almost 2000 dollars for a debt that doesn’t show up on my credit report or add up at all. Told me that I had to pay it or go to court and pay court fees. Talked with someone named “Gino” Who then gave me another number to reach him at with a 310 area code. Doesn’t add up. If I owe a debt I’ll wait for a certified letter saying so

Got a phone call from a restricted phone number stating that it was Erie county processing service that I was to be served regarding a lawsuit.  She gave me a phone # and ref # for a Jenkins law firm... spoke with a dan walked and a darrin Murphy (absolutely rude).  Both told me I owed 2800 on a credit card thru MasterCard which I've never had a MC. They said with legal fees I'd owe 4300!!  Tried to get into from them about this credit card or court date, which they wouldn't give me.  I suggested it was identity theft and they said they were going to call my x husband to tell him i was falsely accusing him, which i never said!  Spent an hour on the phone with them till I finally got Mr Murphy to give me a supposed account #.  After I hung up I called MasterCard with he account # they gave me and they were unable to find any info on this account nor on my SS#.  Called my lawyer who confirmed this is a scam!   Do not give them ANY INFORMATION!!   I actually called Murphy back, who called me Mrs Jenkins (not my name, that's the name of his supposed law firm) and advised him I'll file charges against him and for him to remove me from his call list!

Just to add to my original post. They called me again today. I spoke again with the lady claiming to be from Monroe county processing and she informed me that I was supposed to contact the “law firm” today. I informed her that I wasn’t doing anything without a form of written documentation and hung up on her. About an hour later I got a call from “Gino” at 310-627-2191. I informed him that this debt was not legit and I wasn’t going to do anything without written documentation of the debt, amount, and account information. I then asked him if his “firm” had a website I could visit and he said no, they only have one to process payments. I then reminded him I wanted written documentation and he hung up on me. I tried calling “Gino” back several times only to get his voicemail.
Definitely a scam

Got a call few days back stating that I owe money or face federal lawsuit.  when I asked to send me a letter, they said no so I hung up. Today, my brother received a call from a different number and got a case number which he sent to me. When I called, it was a rude male who only told me that the firm is Jenkins. Stated that I owe over $6000 for money I stole on Chase MC. I explained that I have no such debt and requested proof of account sent to me and he said they don’t do that I know how to deal with “people like me” who hide behind lies & denial. Said that when I’m ready to be a man and pay my debts, I should call him back. I asked who I pay - he said I could pay him now, that’s the only way to avoid lawsuit. I asked one more time for documentation & proof of account but he refused so I hung up. Total scam

This is a scam, and they are impersonating me. If you get a call from this number, please call the Federal Trade Commission at 877-382-4357 and report them. If enough people do so, the FTC may take action.

Why did you look up your own phone number? And did YOU report it to the FTC?

This place is one huge scam! Jenkins law even has it on their website saying this company is using (stealing) their identity and don't pay them and the FTC. These are the bottom feeders of bottom feeders. Don't let them scare you its all BS fake or out of stat debt.

this is the attorney who's identity they are stealing, his office gets flooded with calls. It's even on his website. he's just warning people don't fall victim to this scam.

I don't understand your question, "Why did you look up your own phone number?" Its not my phone number. Yes, I DID report it to the FTC. They won't do anything without a lot of people making complaints.

They are also using the number 855-674-8449. I reported the same scam to FTC yesterday.

Didn't answer, but the message left sounded like hold music with some woman speaking in an East Asian language.

Noticed a charge on my credit card for $6.96 with this phone number attached 855-756-7438 that I cannot call from Canada.
