Trying to collect on an old debt already paid off years ago. Responded with "but if you don't have a Paid in Full letter there's no proof".  Seems to be their MO.

Seems like the owner, Marcellus Rodney Horton, of this collection agency has been arrested before for staging car accidents. He's a felon who is trying to scam people out of money.

Husband charged with assault wife arrested for violating order of protection.

Lieutenant Girdlestone and officer Slimak responded to a Maryknoll Drive address for a domestic. Upon arrival a female victim states she was Assaulted by Marcellus R. Horton, 47. Horton is accused of punching his wife Jajuan L. Horton, 42, in the face and choking her so she couldn’t breathe. He then took her phone and left the residence so she couldn’t call the police. Jajuan Horton was not allowed to be at this residence because of a previous order of protection. While police were investigating the incident Marcellus Horton arrived back at the residence and was placed into custody. Marcellus was charged with assault in the 3rd degree, Criminal obstruction breathing/ blood circulation by choking and petit larceny, Jajuan was charged with violating a valid order of protection.

Got called from this number about a "software fix" for $390"about" two years ago.  Duh!  Never had any such work done!  Of course, "they" will check their records" and call back later.  Right.  Worn out approach on an older scam.
