The "Civil Process Division" for Comanche County (they don't call themselves the "Process and Summons Division") lists their phone number as 580-353-4280. Confirming via that number might be a good idea if you receive a call from any toll-free number (Caller ID is easily faked these days).

Has anyone actually called the number back and actually spoke to someone? What do they want? 855-769-4235 only number left. No other information.... Shows up as a private caller?

Recieved a call from them. They threatened court and jail. Told me I could talk to the attorney in their office to set something up, then refused to let me do just that. When I asked to talk to the attorney, Kyle Hammon (name he have me), hung up on me.

both myself and my husband have received calls from this number, but it comes up as restricted. they left a message stating they are summoning him to court and also has 2 charges. But wouldn't say what for. When I called back they said they couldn't tell me anything. There are no cases or charges against my husband for anything. And when I called back the number last night, it was a weird automated system that didn't sound like a real automated system should sound like.

They didn't call me but when I was surfing the web for a recipe and a message came up saying it was a big security matter and I had better call them. It wouldn't let me use the browser so I called and waited and waited finally hung up. It said it was apple support...

Interesting that in Feb 2014 this number was reported as being used by a debt collector with no other reports until today but I digress.

If you are using Safari, you can clear your browser yourself.  Force quit Safari. Next go to Settings, Safari. Click or tap on Clear Cache and History. Exit Settings then shut down and restart your device. That almost always clears these browser hacks for Macs, iPhones and iPads.

My husband received the message on his Iphone that safari has security issues and to fix the issue he needed to call 1-855-769-4235. So he called them and was on hold for about 20 minutes when a woman finally answered. She wanted my husband to connect his usb cord from the iphone to the pc. When he told her he couldn't because he is using a universal charger, she made us go pull up www.logmein123.com on my laptop. Once this site was pulled up, she made me type in 340378 into the box for the passcode. Once that was done, it pulled up a chat box that essentially allowed her to gain entrance to my pc. She said since my husband's phone was using our wifi that my wifi was the one messing up hubby's phone. Once she gained entrance to my pc information, she said an update to my adobe flash was the problem. There was a one time charge of $150 to fix the problem on my husband's phone. Red flag as soon as she was telling me that my wifi was the problem because i have no problems with my computer whatsoever, but i went ahead with it, til she said the fee for fixing it. I had just recently read that there is a scam going around where the phones are being disabled and it costing a fee to fix them. She then told my husband that if he didn't pay that fee, she would disable his whole phone. He had her on speaker phone, so i hear everything she was saying and she could hear me as well. When she told my husband that she would disable his phone, i told my husband that i recently read about this and it is a scam, rip off. Once i said that, she became very irritated with my husband and told him to not call back again and hung on him.

All you have to do is, go to your settings on your iphone, and clear the cookies and cache. I read here that once you clear the history, to turn the phone off, but we didn't have to do that. We just cleared the history and pulled up safari again with no problem.
