- Office Manager| 4 repliesI manage the office of a very small auto repair shop. This # calls up and mumbles something about being from a financial institution and they wanted to speak to Jack. Jack is my boss and it is my job to filter calls for him. I told the gentleman that if he wanted to speak to Jack he would need to speak to me first. He asked if I was Jack's spouse and I told him no, I am the office manager and you need to speak to me. He said that he had spoken to Jack before and that the call was regarding confidential information. I asked him what company he said he was from so I could ask Jack if he had ever spoken to them before. That is when he got rude. He said something to the effect of, "well I thought you were his spouse, but now I'm not going to tell you. Why do I have to repeat myself? You need to listen better." Blah blah blah. I told him he didn't need to be rude. I told him to take us off his list and to never call our number again. Hopefully I won't be hearing from them again.

- Brandi| 1 replyI got a call from this number today and the man asked for the person responsible for banking at our business. I told him that person was not available and asked if I could take a message. He said no that he would try calling back later but before hanging up he quickly said and who should I ask for. I said probably the owners and he replied, the owners don't have names? To which I said they do but it was my job to screen calls. So he says oh I guess I sound like a solicitor that's why you don't want to give out information. I told him we do get a lot of sales calls but that I would be happy to take his information down and give it to the owners and he responds with, "well tell the owners they just missed out on a million dollar deal because of your rudeness," and hung up. What a jerk!

- riteway towingYes, they are a group with money to lend according to them. They also have poor listening skills, since I run a towing service I asked where the vehicle was they needed towed. Their answer was "Great". I told them that didn't give me location, and they got lost on their "How are you today" script.

- Annie Belle replies to Nancy| 1 replyThey keep on calling if I don't answer. I'd like to choke the heck out of 'em.
- Annie Belle replies to Office Manager| 2 repliesGood luck! They've hounded me for three days. They always ask for my husband, who died two years ago. Right now, I'm pretty angry.. I'm beginning to wonder what good the Do Not Call List is.
- Business OwnerDidn't catch the name - some sort if financial group. I manage my mother's business and screen her calls for her for this reason. This one was fun because I knew it was BS so I asked if she was expecting this call. Of course his response was yes so I called him out on it and told him that was not true, that I am the owner's son and manager and she has no interest in speaking with him. Caught him off guard I suppose because he said great, thank you and hung up.

- SBJust got this call from Ira from Rapid Capital Funding. He asked for my boss. I told him that the boss was not available and could someone else help him. He asked if there was someone else who could make financial decisions.I told him yes..me. He said he had up to 100,000.00 available for working capital. I interrupted his speech and told him we didnt need a loan. He said he was just trying to get me information. I told him I didnt need it and even if I did I would deal with my local bank. He said "maam I am just trying to get the information to you." I said no thank you and he started to say something else so I just hung up. I think I need to get an air horn to respond to these pushy telemarkerters

- Jeff in MDCarlos called looking for our office manager. He seems to be under the impression that he is the owner so I let him has his fantasy! He was actually speaking to the owner but what the heck.
I asked him what the call was in reference to but he said he would only speak with the owner and no one else. I told him that the owner was not available but he didn't quite believe me and asked when he would be in. 2pm I told him.
"Please tell him that Carols called." he said. Uhh, Ok, I will
Thanks, good bye.

- East| 1 replyI screen some calls and this gentlemen with an India-asian accent asked for the someone.
I said they weren't available. He wanted to know why. I said he just wasn't. Then he said, "O! Are you a co-owner," I said, "No." he asked when they could call back and that it was regrading a financial matter. I told them when, and then thanked me.
I asked who it was. The guy calling gave me his name, which I have to presume to be real, and was from "a financial institution." Then I said, no, what's the name of the company. He answered "Financial Services Company." I said, "Financial Services Company, That's the name?" He responded, "Yes."
I then looked this number up and it the net yielded information saying it was Retail Capital and had telemarketers with equally shady and pushy presentations.- Caller: Financial Services Company

- MTThis company has been calling and harassing my company for several months. Asking them not to call and logging the call with the phone company doesn't help. I have contacted the police and because we are a business and it is not a local number they can't help. Feel free to go ahead and call this number from an untraceable line or throw away cel and harass them, apprently they love it.
