I got a call that left a message with this phone number as callback number (although the caller id showed a different/spoofed number). It is in regards to student loan forgiveness and is a scam. Funny because I do not have any student loans.

Same thing just happened to me.  When I called back (was annoyed b/c caller - from private/blocked number - left LONG message on my voicemail,) I waited to speak to a live person and organization seemed legitimate but person denied that they make outgoing calls and hung up on me.  So, scammer is using real callback # for possible legit organization and is relying on those who pick up initial call from blocked number.  OR person who answered 855 # was simply lying and this is NOT legit organization.  Unfortunately, I need to answer calls from blocked #s since they are sometimes from health care providers or police.  855 # claims to be organization called Student Loan Forgiveness Program in Las Vegas, Nevada.
