Lady keeps calling stating she has papers to serve me with with a false case number. when you call this number they represent themselves as Luis Rodriguez and Assocciates out of Cramden New York but when i ask for the attorney's information they only want a case number. When i told the lady that was irrelevant, she hung up on me. SCAM!!

I just received a call from the same people. I am reporting them for harrassment,  false representation,  and they threaten my job and home.

I get a call from 855-809-5942 at work and home some woman from a law firm saying she is giving me a courtesy call as she will be serving me.  She will be coming by my place of employment and will be serving me at my home which this seemed like nonsense to me.

Same report as the above person, Kim, except did not say where they were going to serve me.  I get calls like this and it is sad people try to scam other people!   I've also had them call family members before, too!  How the heck do they get all this info?  SCARY!!!

Got a "courtesy" call about being served and told to call the same above number.  When called 8558095942, I was told that is was from an online payday loan from 5-8-13.  I have had no previous contact from the loan company in the last two years until I received this "courtesy" call on 6-2-15.  I've gotten scam calls from other people over the past 6-7 years.  Is this just another scam or what?

Short answer---you are NOT warned if a summons is coming.

Did you receive anything in writing that was mailed to you??  If not - you have NOT been notified of anything except a scam.  The 855 area code has quite a few scammer numbers reported here.

An actual Process Server is not going to have any conversation with you about any debt you owe, nor will they demand payment from you. If something like this happens, immediately call local law enforcement and make a full report including as much descriptive information as you can give them of the person impersonating a court officer.
