Claimed that the "Windows Key" on my computer had expired and I should call this number.  Obvious scam.

called saying it was an "emergency" regarding my expired Windows license key.  Companies are supposed to have license keys, not home computers.  Another disgusting attempt at scamming

Was claiming my Microsoft license key has expired and my computer was a risk! RIGHT! how dumb do they think people are!

claimed MS license key expired -- came from 855-364-4673

Ignored a call from 866-468-3444 (CID said Scam Likely) and they actually left a message! A robotic voice already running stated my Microsoft license key has expired and to call this number then repeated, stating at the beginning of the second message that it's an emergency.
Even if I didn't already know about this scam, it would be obvious since my husband purchased all of our computer components & they would have his number, not mine.

If it WERE TRUE, I'd tell them I'll rip out 'Windows' and install Linux Mint. :-)
AAMOF, Win 10 sucks so badly, I'm tempted to do that anyway. :-(

I worry about the people who would fall for this.

I received an automated voice message from this number also.  Told me to call the 1-855-855-1606 which I unfortunately called thinking it was legit.  Person says they work for Microsoft.  Could not prove it.  I hung up.

My mom got a call from 866-654-8769 saying that the Windows Key has expired on the computer she DOESN"T HAVE and she should call this number.... yada yada yada.
