Just got a call from this number. And not sure if it really the SSA . Last week got a call from people claiming to be with the SSA but everyone that I talked to had an accent from another and they had used google none the less.

This number wont stop calling. Its a machine saying they have suspended my social security number due to fraud.

Keeps calling wont leave a message

Says it’s Social Security won’t stop calling! What should I do. When I call back it just asks to leave message. Caller I’d says UNITED STATES

This is a scam! The real social security site says this scam has cost people over $10 million $

Social security scam they say your social security number has been deleted! The real social security website says over 300,000 victims and those people lost over $10 million dollars

ITS A SCAM HANG UP ITS NOT REAL THEY ARE THIEVES!

First of all, stop calling back.  It is a SCAM.  Social Security will NEVER call you unless you've requested the contact.  This is a well-known scam.  Here's information from the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) on SS scams:

Robot call saying my SS number has been put on hold due to possible fraud. When I pressed 1 for more info, it was a foreign voice saying it was Social Security office.

The voice message only said "...So if you are interested in this case, Press 1.  Thank you."|
The phone number 855-863-3562 is the legitimate number of the Social Security Office located at 444 Enterprise Pkwy., Ravenna, Ohio, 44266

So what does all this mean?  Is it possible to hack a phone number and send out bogus calls?

Unfortunately, this number belongs to a ss office in Ohio. When it calls, my VM only records a computer telling me there is a "hold" or something is wrong with my number (what a crock).   However, I believe their number has been used as a cover for a scam - It is supposedly to the Ravenna SS office - and they have a recording that tells you to call and report the action if you think you have been scammed- the recording states that they (social security) will not call you-
