This # called myself as well as my parents telling me that in2007 there was a CC opened w 1800 charged to it. They also said I had some restraining order on me. This is all ridiculous as within the last year I've had my credit pulled for a home & truck. Contacted the sheriff they said it sounds like a scammer

I received a call from 8558691571 at 4:19pm today.  They said they were from the FBI and there was a case # and a warrant out for me.  But, they did not say who they were looking for.

Same thing just happened to me.  What happened after that?

Got a call from 000-000-0000 stating that I need to call 855-869-1571 due to a case against me.
Called it back and it doesn't go through.
Total scam

Got a call from 855-869-1571 about civil suit against me.  Called back got recording.  Called later got a commercial ad for lower rates....Sounds bogus to me...

Thanks for the comments. I just got a message left on my machine. Scams are bogus these days.

This call is obviously a scam as caller said I was being sued, etc.  You will never get a phone call to inform you of a lawsuit.  Service must be made in person or by registered mail.  Besides, it didn't state my name, why I am being sued, or who is suing me.  Just a lot of scary threats to get a lawyer, and then really funny, the final parting shot says "thank you and good luck".  Don't fall for it.  

My mother call me at work.she said that they left a message on her phone with the message about a civil suit against me as well as a restraining order. to me it didn't sound right. I though that you supposed to get a said certified letter sound bogus to me.

This number has called my house, my parents and my sister in laws houses. It's getting old, because it's a scam and they are bothering more than just my household. Thye need to be stopped. They have called multiple times to each house. I need to figure out how to get them to quit!

Please report calls to the State Attorney General in New York.

I did and they informed me that all civil law suits must be delivered and served directly to you.with full history of debt.

No Federal benefits can be garnished

Debt collectors who file law suits after statue of limitations can be fined and sued.
Check your state for debt limitations.

And finally State Attorney General Office said to file a complaint with the FTC after every call.

This # hacked my computer, they told me they were Microsoft there to help me fix the viruses in my computer because as soon as I turned it on, it was on my screen and I was stupid and called the #, when I realized it wasn't Microsoft as the guy started yelling at me cause I wouldn't buy the "sonicwall" for $2400.00. I hung up turned off my computer and had to get it restored back to as if it were new. WATCH OUT, they are nothing but criminals and I have a few other choice words for these people.
