Got a call  from this number today.  I didn't answer.  An individual left a message "about being assigned to my case" and proceeded to rattle off a bunch of big words and legal gibberish...I suppose in an attempt to intimidate me.  
The message went on to say something about check fraud and check claims, which I know I have no part in.
I am sending a cease and desist letter today to this address since I have a STRONG suspicion the two companies are one in the same.

Also got a called from this number.  The guy's name was Roger Carter.  He said that he had some documentation with my name and social security attached to it.  He said that they will be at my residence and place of work within the next 3 to 4 hours.  

I got the same message any idea on what I should do about it if anything.

I got a call from "Marshall Joe (or Joel) Thomas....I cannot tell as he mumbles.... Anyway, he has a docket number xxxxxx with my name and social security and that voice mail was a "Legal Documented Message" that I will be served. Well...NOTHING is legal UNLESS AND UNTIL you are served actual notice IN WRITING at your HOME ADDRESS. And then it will be from the company that is "owed this fraudulent monies".....Working in law for over 10 years, I kind of think I know something about that. DO NOT GIVE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION OR SS# TO ANYONE over the phone. EVER. If you have anyone that is truly filing any legitimate claim against you, you WILL be notified by mail first and foremost. No legal company, law office or civil/criminal courts ESPECIALLY will have an "800-866-855-877...etc" phone number call you and ask YOU to verify who you are by your social security number.
