Leaves a message stating that they tried to reach me by mail,then says to call back before they take action

The automatic message identified himself by being of the CRA (Canadian Revenue Agency) asking to call beack before taking legal procedures. [***] ... CRA would never have an automated call especially not in the two official languages (french and english)

The same man keeps calling me with this stupid message saying he is with CRA and action is going to be taken. It is nothing but a scam and I am sick and tires of these useless messages ! Very annoying as well

Received this message twice today, each time a voice mail was left. I deleted the voice mail and of course I did not call back. Agree with the comments above: it is not CRA, no bilingual message, no mail, etc. SCAM!!

I did call back and they cannot even speak in french.  Even when you tell them to give you your social insurance number or date of birth, they cannot.  Definitely a scam.  Never give any personal information over the phone or email.

I've had 15-20 calls from this number. Two of them so far today. Told me a warrant has been issued for my arrest.  CRA is how they identify themselves. If it wasn't so annoying it would be very very funny!  Never give out personal information!!!

Said they were CRA and threatened legal action. Said they sent letters which of course they did not

It's a scam work with tax people the caller never leaves automated call they talk direct and why would they want personal info when they so called tax office has all your personal info.dont waste your time responding

They called me today...  I called them and they answered.  How can we get the CRTC to disconnect the number before they defraud seniors?

Got 2 calls last night. Said it was the auditor about a legal matter that should not be ignored.

My 93-year-old father has received this call five times in the last two days. It scared the h*ll out of him before I convinced him it was a scam. I just received it for the first time. An automated message, identified himself as Micheal somebody from Canada Revenue. I called my dad and told him we could share a cell.

CRA threatening legal action. How do we get this fixed ? Fed up !

Same as previous posters (Recorded message, Nicki Johnson, CRA, legal action). All you can do is hang up. Blocking number doesn't help. The number changes each time. (e.g. 888.338.9520)
