got one message on my answering machine. I could not hear clearly, but it said me or my lawyer should call back at this number

These guys will try to scare you with court case and RCMP arrest - just laugh in their face and welcome to use some choice words for these scumbags who are a disgrace to humans

I received a msg on my phone asking me to call 855 888 5934. The message was not very clear, something about getting my lawyer to call me income tax.   I called the number and it rang for a very long time before a message came on - not very clear - something about ICS....
Be aware that if anyone owes the government the government will contact you by mail.  Not by this underhand method.

I checked through the numbers of incoming calls and noted another number and called  at approx 7 p.m. tonight - 1 800 266 3939 - and there was an immigrant answering the number, thick accent telling me that the number was the Canada Revenue Agency.  I asked where he was located while answering the call and he said in Ontario and the Revenue Agency is open 24 hours a day and I must be having a problem since I received a call.  He wanted to know my name.  I doubted the fact that the CRA worked 24 hours a day and he hung up very quickly.
This appears to be a new scam going the rounds in Canada now.   My take on the person's accent is that the person sounded like a Sri Lankan.

This is similar to the IRS scam taking place here in the US. The operations tend to be based in Pakistan and India.
Like the IRS,  the CRA has issued warnings about these calls.

Did a search and 855-888-5934 appears to be a number listed in the U.S.A -  Maple Rd, Jefferson, Ohio trying to scare people with a tax evasion.
Big time scam!!

This is the time of year when this type of scam shows up.   I sincerely hope people do not get suckered in!!

It's the same here. These calls have really taken off since we got close to tax season.

Call from CRA about tax issues...??

This number has called me 6 times today telling me they are the IRS and I must pay them money.

F**king scam, called my landline 4 times today and left message claiming to be the CRA and that if I don't give them a call back they will show up at my door and I will have to face consequences. They also call my cell phone too. THESE PEOPLE SHOULD BE SUED.

I know it's a scam so I finally decided to call back and mess with them,after multiple calls a day,  they hung up but each time I called back it was the same lady answering so I kept yelling at her haha, it's good for a laugh!

This is a scam. It's been going through the USA for years, it's just making it's way here to Canada. Losers, need a job!

I called them and he said he was Revenue Canada. I said he ordered a pizza and I needed his credit card number. He told me to f**k off and he hung up on me ROFLMAO

I called and asked for his credit card number so I could go online shopping with it lol, told me to f-off and hung up on me o.O

I got a call from this number earlier tonight (June 24 2016) claiming to be Linda something from the CRA calling about my warrent for tax evasion - which is a scam! It was a poorly done pre-recorded message, the "woman" had a thicker accent.

This number has been calling me multiple times a day with a recorded robotic filed with static message about CRA and I will be solely responsible for the legal consequences if my lawyer doesn't call them.
