Get these calls all of the time but always from different spoofed numbers. Robo-message on voicemail threatens that our (something mumbled) on our windows will be stopped unless we call the number back. Never gonna happen.

These robo calls seem to be happening later in the evening - answering machine picked up since I didn't recognize the number and it was "something" on our windows will be stopped unless we call back.

A helpful telephone call from "WINDOWS" to inform me that my Windows is screwing-up the Internet.  If I were to do as was suggested, possession of my computer instantly becomes their property -- until I pay continual ransoms for the duration of my life.  So helpful are they that they call me five days a week. It's a sad commentary, when India's biggest export is fraud. BEWARE.

I got the same call.  They left a message on my recorder saying my Windows license had expired  to call them at this number.  I didn't call of course, because they have said the same thing several times plus Windows would not call.

Same old Microsoft scam. I can't believe anyone falls for this stupid scam.

Got a call this afternoon. Answered, but nobody on the line, not even a recording.

Call from this number claims to be Microsoft calling about a licensing issue. I use UNIX....

No message left on my v.m. but my app identified it as "suspected spam".

Yep...supposedly, our Microsoft Windows license has expired, and we have to call them immediately to pay to get it put back into effect.  Right.  Uh huh.

Some robot left a message about Windows services being dropped.

I got a call from this number yesterday morning.  Claims to be Microsoft and that there is an issue with my windows license.  Windows?  Don't use Microsoft.  I'm an Apple guy.

Called at 2:30 pm on our line 3.  It was a recording saying our Windows license was expired and instructed us to call.  Googled the number.  As I expected, it's a scam.

Received a call on my home phone from 1-855-889-1288 on 05/02 at 4:14 PM. Caller told us that our Windows 10 has expired. We hung up. Windows 10 is current on our computers. My home/cell phone numbers are registered on DO NOT CALL, but we know that it is just a joke. Checked phone number on 800Notes and agree with other users commenting on this phone number.

No, the DNC registry isn't a joke. It does exactly what it was created for - tells LEGITIMATE telemarkters not to call you. Scammers such as this don't subscrive to it and it isn't a call blocker so it can't stop them from calling you. Try an actual call blocker.

Yep..... another fake message from "microsoft"..... an emergency message telling me that my software license has expired....

Received a robo call telling m that my Window License had expired and my windows  would no longer work. Instructed me to call back to restore Windows.  Funny thing is, I was at my desk using Windows when the call came in.
