This is Immediate Credit Recovery of Wappingers Falls, NY. They are one of many firms who buy defaulted student loans, in bulk, for pennies on the dollar. Such companies use any means possible to collect. Sometimes, these tactics may violate the law including calling people at work, calling relatives or people with the same last name who may or may not be related.

They called me once while I was at work and I do have student loans to pay back. I have already called the fedloan and talk to them. This debt collector had no right to call me.

I received a call for a relative, who I have not had contact with in more than 15 years.  I don't know how they would get my number.  We are on the do not call list.

I have my loans in order with another company and they continge calling despite requests to stop.

call from 855-889-2777 caller ID said "TOLL FREE" on Thursday 05-11-17 at 930 AM.

female answered when I said hello. she said she "was L-M and was looking for a person."
asked her why are you calling here and she said "it was a personal matter."
told her he was not here. she asked for his cell phone.
told her "I don't know the cell number but is there a number he can call you back on."
she said "no, it was a 'personal' number, and she would try calling again."
got company name but this must be a bunch of crap no doubt.

call from 855-889-2777 caller ID said "PRIVATE CALLER" on Thursday 05-11-17 at 1119 AM.

female called and looking for a person and was laughing. I said "what" and hung-up.
