I got calls from this phone number and others, which are frequently VA lenders and bill collectors.  My  phone # formerly belonged to a veteran, who may have defaulted on a VA loan or was on marketing lists of VA lenders. The phone company waits 6 months after cancellation before reassigning the same phone number to a new customer. The lenders and collectors will never stop calling me as long as I have this phone #. If I change phone #s, which I have to pay a fee to do, then there is no guarantee that the new phone # I get assigned doesn't belong to a former customer who owes money or is listed on marketing lists. All I do is ignore any calls when caller ID shows any phone #s and names I don't recognize.

Him: (after short delay after I answered) "Our records show that you have a VA loan whose interest rates can be significantly reduced. I see that your loan balance is over $125,000 is that correct."
Me: No..... also I so not respond to scam calls. You are wasting my time."
Him: This is not a scam call, but since your loan balance is less than $125,000 you do not qualify for our program. Goodbye"

Same as the rest of you. Multiple calls like this one and I am on the no call list. I wonder how many of you have tried changing your number with your phone service. I have done so twice, and each time I get the same kind of calls, just different numbers. Our phone provider keeps rotating the same numbers others have tried to dump. Seems as if they should have some responsibilities towards helping to correct the problem.

I sometimes switch off my answering machine for a few days.  The people that need to reach me and are important enough to me have my cell. It really does help, because then telemarketers think that it is not a valid number and kick you off their list automatically.

VA Scam!
On Thursday (Thursday @ 1:14pm I received a call from the phone listed above on from 855.889. 6011.
I quickly told the female that I do not do business with a known scam over the phone and that I will be turning their phone #. She denied they were a scam and called her a liar and said she was preying on veterans. THANK YOU and the media for advising the veteran population on these shameful scams!

#855-889-6011 called my cell phone didn't leave a message. I'm sure it was a telemarketer call. Im on the no call list. So glad my phone now has a blocking function! :)

Called and asked for a Mr or Mrs Bennett or the property owner of a certain address. I said that wasn't me. Could hear a hundred other people talking in the background.

I've called them 9 times today and asked to taken off their list.  It probably worked the first time but I wanted them to be as annoyed as me.  Somehow they got a list of veteran's phone numbers.  

Got a call supposedly about a VA Loan.  I am on the No call list and have submitted another complaint to donotcall.gov

Called left no message.

They have called before didn't answer.  Blocked the number.  Unbelievable.

Do not call remove # from any call list you may have

I keep getting calls from this number and it hangs up shortly after answering every time.

They call more than ten times a day. Bothering too much.

I didn't answer the call. they l/m and it said they were from VRS. I am guessing it was to refinance on a VA loan. I doi not own my home any longer and I am not a veteran.

I received several calls and never answered until after the 5th time.  I did speak with someone and she actually asked for someone else.  It ended up being a wrong number so hopefully now it will stop.

Girl that called asked for m.  I told her this wasn't who she's looking for. I asked how much she makes at her call center. She said minimum. I proproposed she quit, come be my personal [***] toy and I'll pay her double her salary. Plus free room and meals. She hung up. Hope this ceases the calls for a while.

I am receiving calls from this caller and do not wish to receive calls on my cellphone because it wastes my minutes.

J receive this call all the time  the time they say nothing the will let the phone  ring to your house 20 times  what happens if you ever applied for anything online your phone gets sold. To scammer companies  and oversea scammers because they have so many
Numbers it's impossible  to block there's literally   100 number to one company  or scammer good luck trying to stop them  The do not call list is a wastes of tax payers money

Ha! This number called me and guessing WHOEVER this guy was on the other end left a message unknowing that he didn't hang up and I got a voicemail message of him saying LIKE OMG! Yeah white dude, like omg LOL
