Just got one,,,was a recording but hung up shortly into call as know CRA does not have any 855 area code numbers..buggers...people are getting scammed by these crooks.

This number called something about some criminal case. What.

It's a scam these idiots tried doing this same scam from a different number last week... I phoned them nonstop till they got the number disconnected..I guess it time to start dialing !!!

Got  call stating Officer John Parker had to speak to me or there would be serious legal consequences

Got a message saying there is a criminal investigation against the name and if we didn't call immefiately Social insuranc number would be red flagged forever and law suit brought against me. Then said have a "blessed day". Yeah right!

I got a scam call from so called cra as well. Very rude and no one from cra asks for cash.

Just got a call from 855-889-7992 and never left a message. I AM NOT THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY!!!!

A pre-recorded messge said that I am under investigation by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). That I should call
the office of Helen Johnson or my SIN will be voided entirely. Does the CRA have jurisdiction over SIN ? This was an
attempt to scam me. I googled about Helen Johnson and CRA and the 855 number where I came to know about new
phone scams using the CRA.

Says CRA, told my 91 year old father he was in big trouble, scared the crap out of him, b____ards!

Same old CRA scam with lawsuit threat - automated call from "Eric Foster".  The best part of message was a mix up with saying they were the CRA and then at the end saying IRS.  Maybe just covering all the bases....

Received a call from 855-889-7992, let it go to voice mail. Left a threatening message if I did not return their call, I would be investigated
for fraud and my social insurance number would be red flagged forever.

855-889-7992 from Eric Foster ...but a woman's voice: I'm being investigated by CRA, and I need to call their number or My Soc. Ins. card would be red flagged forever and I would be criminally investigated. Then they said...have a blessed day.
Question: if there's already so many complaints and it's a common scam for some time ...how is it the authorities appear to be doing nothing to stop it! Someone is on the collecting end of this scam, manning the phones. Come on fraud squad ...get on these guys!
