This number called but left no message @ 5:00PM on 5/20/16.

said they were from Windstream and wanted to install high speed modem.

Same thing here, haven't confirm their legitimacy yet.

Caller I.d. and person said they were with Windstream telephone company and told me that my internet speed could be changed for a fee of $69.99. The person then asked for 911 address and I asked why they needed or because Windstream has my information, they thanked me and rudely hung up. Call was made @ 8:30 p.m.

Received a call from 855-889-8965 and they left no message. I am a customer of Windstream and I have informed Windstream Customer Service.

said they were windstream and had my address, email address, knew i was primary acct holder, and obviously ph number and wanted to set up an appt to upgrade high speed modem. I didn't believe them, hung up, but wondered how they had that much info.
