Heads Up Warning
Just had a "scam" attempt on my iPad that I was not familiar with.  Somehow the scammer sent me a pop up warning msg which froze my Safari connection.  It said my IOS had crashed and that I needed to call for technical support.  When you call the number provided they want $40 to fix it.  It is a scam which one can "fix" yourself by going into the Settings, finding Safari and removing the Safari history there.  That wipes out the offending pop up, but it also wipes out your Safari history.  Found out that the default setting on my Safari is to block pop ups, which makes me wonder how the pop up occurred in the first place.
