Received a call for the National Coalition for Police & Troopers, 1314 S 1st St. #352, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The man speaking has a sort of southern sound to his voice and said this was a fund to help families of wounded or dead police.  He was insistent.  I said nothing over the phone but please send me info.  He turned me over to another man who sounded sort of Indian or Indonesian.  I received the letter, again with "please send check".  I emailed the BBB of Millwaukee, Wisconsin and they had no info.  Texted several BBB in Wisconsin.  Searched the 'net with no lock on the name.  Checked Google Pro map and found the address but it was a UPS store on the bottom floor of an apartment building.  The real kicker was the letter stating it as a special program of Law Enforcement for a Safer America PAC, not a fund for families.

A woman called me to ask for a donation to the National Coalition For Police & Troopers saying that we really need to support our police officers today.  Then she transferred me to someone else that wanted to take a credit card over the phone, but I told them that I do not donate to anyone over the phone with a credit card.  I asked them to invoice me, so I just received the invoice and it is the same address as above: 1314 S 1st St. #352 in Milwaukee, WI  53204-2405 and phone.  Thanks for this post, I will not be sending them my donation.

1314 S 1st St. Milwaukee, WI is a UPS Store, #352 would be a rental mailbox inside that store.  The use of such rental mailboxes is popular with scammers since it makes it difficult to find out where they are really located.
I would not send them anything either.  (And I bet they wanted you to supply the postage to send your donation back to them.)
