    Of course it is.  Ask yourself, "When did I ever SUBSCRIBE to Microsoft Windows, and how did they get my phone number?"

    Robo-call waited for my answering machine to pick up and left message that my Windows subscription was going to expire.  I waited a day to see if it was true.  I would have posted my experience on this forum, but unfortunately my computer shut down at midnight.  Not.

    They are robo-dialling (by computer/machine ) everyone in the hopes they a can find a sucker to give them remote access.
