    My home computer locked up, said I have malware problem and I should call this number 855-900-7461 asap.  I did not call them and now i'm taking my computer to get fixed somewhere..

    I just got the same thing. Is it expensive to get fixed? Do you lose anything?

    Yes, my screen was completely locked up, I unfortunately did call this number and allowed access to my computer, but stopped at the point I realized they wanted to charge me to "fix" the problem.  Not sure how much damage has been done.

    Run a virus & malware scan NOW.  There is a chance the caller put spyware on your unit.  Keep a check on your banking information as well as your contact list if they are on the computer.
