Most likely scam call.

They were claiming to be a student loan forgiveness provider from the government. Asked for normal info and then a security code sent from my student load provider. I then realized it was a scam as that code is entirely private to me.

“Hey this is Sarah with student support my number is 855-912-1877 I'm just giving you a call in regards to your federal student loans I do have you  prequalified for repayment options looks like for a possible loan discharge or the forgiveness program it is just a part of that we go over details as soon as possible just _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ your status expires um but I will keep it in pending status for now but I do hope to hear from you soon and have a great day to opt out of future calls please call 201-579-1847…”

I've had the same exact voicemail as others have mentioned. They never identify who they truly are. They say "student services" but with WHO??? It's so aggravating getting these scam calls.

Got a call from 855-912-1877 saying that I could 50% off my Comcast bill.  While I do have Comcast, it is not linked to the number they called me on. So... yeah....

I just got a call from this number saying they were calling from Comcast and to call back for 50% savings on my account.

Same.  Got a voicemail on cell phone from this number saying they were calling from Comcast and to call back for 50% savings on my account.  Comcast doesn't know about my cell #.

I received a call from this number claiming to be Comcast/Xfinity and had an offer to reduce my bill by half for a two year period, no contract, but the catch was that you had to prepay the first six months.

NEVER GIVE PEOPLE MONEY WHEN THEY WANT IT ON TARGET CARDS!!!!                   We got the number for the Comcast deal from a friend who hadn’t call it yet. Got offered the same deal as others have described, and they actually did get our Comcast  balance paid off! But a follow-up phone call to the REAL Comcast showed that the first call was a scam, and some other probably stolen credit card (not one in our name) was used to pay it off. All taken care of now (and we unfortunately still owe Comcast an outrageously large monthly bill with totally insufficient Wi-Fi/ internet service.
