Number kept popping up on my computer saying there was suspicious activity on my computer, not to shut it down., to call the Microsoft phone number to speak to technician.  When I called it was very suspicious.  Big pauses, very unprofessional, I immediately shut down my computer and hung up.

Same thing happened in internet explorer. I would not click okay, i ended the task through task manager. Annoying repetitive beeping along with it. Can only assume it's some sort of malware.  I misclicked a selection for a kids website and it popped up and keeps popping up now at any startup for internet explorer. I'm currently using Google Chrome...

My kids tried to go to the raz-kids website (I think they didnt put the dash in the middle) and it popped up. I tried calling and they wanted me to go to a website and enter a 6 digit code. I hung up on him. Seemed very suspicious.

Same for me, I mistyped raz-kids as razkids and that page popped up, I could only shut it down with task manager or shutting down the computer altogether.

The suspicious activity page suddenly showed up on my computer and would not go away....also mentioning that my internet provider insists that you call. So I called the number, they did not pick up using the name of my internet provider. He asked me the age of my computer, and then said he was going to do a diagnostic on my comp...and then would recommend what needs to be done. I asked if there was a charge, he said the diagnostic was free but then to implement the fixes they would charge. I asked him the name of the company I was calling and he said Webmatrix and that they are responsible for fixing Microsoft applications running on a computer. I looked up Webmatrix...it doesn't say anything of the sort. I asked the guy how to get rid of the beeping and get off the screen, he said even if I logged off it would not go away. I told him I would call him back and hung up. Restarted and everything seemed fine.
