Said she was from my college and wanted info for the directory. She ask for my date of birth and I hung up.

Hung up as soon as I answered. Gosh, that's not shady. Added to my "Do not answer" list :)

I did not answer - and no message was left. I usually ignore #s I don't recognise...

This number called again today. I ignored. They left no message. I stand by my "shady" assumption.

Said they were BECU bank and my debit card was locked. No caller ID on call, number showed up in voicemail. Scam.

This is the third time in the last two weeks this person called. She left a message twice, but didn't the last time. She said her name was Chelsea, she was from my university and wanted to update my profile for the alumni directory. I'm not in the directory, and there's usually a local phone number from where the school is located for alumni-related events. This # wasn't. Don't answer.

Received a postcard stating the college wanted to update its alumni information database. Looked official. I did not call.
