It's Spam!

I get so many spam calls. I'm on the national DO NOT CALL list and I still get them. Some are from a home security company which calls from several different numbers but have the same spiel, same company. Most like this one hang up when I pick up the phone. Someone stop them please.

Got called twice back to back but did not pick up either time. I shy away from answering 855 numbers anyway. No message left.

It's a contractor for Comcast calling to tell you about new promotions they have. Nefarious, no.  Annoying, yes.

Following up: They continue to call at least once a day. I suppose I will just block the number.

They've been calling daily the past week.  I don't answer and they don't leave a message

So Comcast can ignore the DO NOT CALL list huh?   They call my cell phone on a daily basis and its nothing short of harassment.

Comcast trying to promote packages.

It's a Comcrap cable rep trying to sell additional overpriced channels. They are going to increase prices on next month's bill and that's when I will tell them good-bye. They keep deleting channels and increasing the price. There have been just two months over past year that hey didn't have an increase on my bill every month.  Only reason I have been with them this long is there's nowhere else I can get wifi.

This was a weird number as 11 appeared before the 8559447109. Figured it was out of country call perhaps. We are on the do not call list too but it does not always work. I plan to block this number but am sure they will just use another one in its place! :)

Unwanted calls

Called the number back on another phone and the message said they are a certified Comcast marketer for additional services. Not necessarily a scam but probably annoying.

If you are a client, and have given them your number, they can call even if you are on the Do Not Call list.

No message - busy signal when call back

Comcast calling AGAIN AT WORK to offer me Xfinity X1 or something or another.  Last time I answered AT WORK, I told them I was at work and can't talk about this.

I answered this time and after a 4-5 second pause and Indian man came on the line and said he was from Comcast offering promotions.  Which is annoying because I am already a Comcast subscriber.
