- Kathy replies to RobertSame thing as - above.. from someone named Sarah. failure to pay student loans. Actually left a voicemail. I called the number back and "Sarah" was busy. Some man came on line an wanted to know if I knew my student loans were about to be "collected" or something and referred to "Barents" law or something. I asked where he got that info and he paused at which time I told him he had no idea what he was talking about. I have no student loans, I'm 71 and ages ago. I've 3 calls in the past 3 days with some info like this. One from a person who said he was from IRs??? They actually leave a voicemail with a call back number. I am on the no call list.

- philSarah from "Student Health Assistance" called me about a "student loan forgiveness" program which, to my knowledge, does not exist. Seems like they would at least try to come up with a fake company name or something, but who am I to tell them how to do their job?

- AnnaI got the same voicemail from someone calling herself Sarah. My student loans are already paid off. This is one of three voicemails I have received in as many weeks with a similar script about how I "qualified" for or "submitted an incomplete application" to some "student loan forgiveness" program. "Sarah" did not appear to have my name or any personal/identifying information about me. I believe this to be a scam and will be reporting it to the Federal Trade Commission and to my state Attorney General.
