Called my phone looking for my brother, said they were james arrigo's office trying to reach out about a letter that needed to be signed for

Katelynn calling on behalf of Raymond with James Arrigo associates you do with my ex husband who mind you divorced back in 2002 and I was a defendant such a load of BS and my social security number was on paperwork and named a reference number made it sound real but know it was a scam came up unknown caller Id DONT answer NO CALLS LIKE THAT SHE LEFT A VOICEMAIL

Scam I do believe. ALWAYS GOOGLE THE NUMBER FIRST. Received a call from a PRIVATE NUMBER. The caller said her name was Samantha with Regal Law Firm and was calling regarding a complaint filed against a brother and my name came up as a "possible relative". They said they were placing a courtesy call and within 72 hours they were going to file additional proceedings against him. I NOW ALWAYS Google the number they say to call back to, and what do you know...so I decided to add my testimony against them too. Every reputable attorney office should have their firm's name come up when their number is googled. This is about my fifth experience with such scammers. I now have downloaded an app that labels them as scammers when their call comes in when enough people report them. So I will report this number as well. I didn't respond and a day later, another brother got the same call. And we know that any firm can access DMV and other contact info when purposes are legitimate. Downloading a scam identifying app would be good too.

Called my cell number for a “Lance”. I’m notLance and do niteven know a Lance. I told them. She then called back and argued with me. Not only ruse and kind of stupid, also illegal. It they call again, I will take legal action against them.

They are not a law office nor attorney- they do mediation

....which means they are debt collectors.  It is also illegal to claim to be a law firm if they are not licensed as well as threatening the delivery of papers (as per other posters).

Looks like the same scam they are trying to pull with me said i had a civial suit against me. Well my family is full of law associates and officers so i had them check me out. No civial suit filled towards me. This is a scam and they are mean as hell on the phone i would say they would get there way with someone who just dont know any better.

A Brian Renolds called from a  "restricted" number looking for someone with my last name. Said needed papers signed by 5 PM today. Gave 855 977 5336 as number to call along with a tracking code.

Said needed papers signed by 5 PM and will come out to my residence for the certified document mandatory by the state for my signature and that i am now "being notified"  Gave 855 977 5336 as number to call along with a tracking code.

That # did the same thing here 12/20/19 today. Looking for my daughter that doesn't live here, believe it is BS.855

got a call from a Brian Reynolds looking for my ex husband we've been divorced for 6 years said I was a contact he needed papers signed from the state had the wrong address for him I didnt give him the correct information and   called my ex to let him know. They gave number and tracking number.

You don't need any more information. Your caller was a low-life Scammer. That's been explained here & if you'd taken the time to read this thread you'd already know that. Ignore the Rodent!

I called them and their voicemail says they are CRS.

Called talking about they have paperwork to sign and they will be out to my home and gave the address a or my job and left a code such BS this has got to be illegal

Called my number saying they needed to deliver papers and have me sign for them within the next 3 days. She was giving me a “courtesy call” with tracking number etc. etc. Heard this one before!

Called asking for my ex whom I divorced over a decade. He said he was placing a lien on my home because my ex’s name was on the deed. Incorrect information. Very rude and aggresive

You cannot simply "place a lien".  He would need to actually sue you and win, thus obtaining a judgement in his favor.  You would of course counter sue him for FDCPA violations resulting in him paying you.
