got a voice mail for my father's name, who's been deceased for 7 years and an old address we lived at in the early '90s. Tried calling them back 10:00 ET, nobody answered and doesn't sound like an established enity.

You really should learn how to use punctuation.  It would make reading your post a whole lot easier.

Received a voice mail from the caller who spoke extremely fast, rattling off a bunch of information.
Examining my phone logs, I see my phone has "Auto Rejected" 7 calls from this number, over the past 4 months, indicating scam phone calls.

Luckily, I record all my calls, including my voice mails, so I forwarded it to my PC and popped it into Audacity to slow it down and see what he actually said...
He mentions that he will only warn me two times, "this being the first" of trying to serve me papers... He then rattles off the toll free number, as listed here, as well as a case number.

The thing is, law offices don't serve papers, the local county authorities do, and they certainly don't do anything by phone. Real documents being served are handled first by mail, then certified mail, and finally by a county deputy at your residence or place of business.

This is just a scare tactic to get people to reveal personal information in order to further scam them out of money.

TL:DR: Don't sweat this at all, just ignore them. They aren't a legitimate legal agency.

This is the crazy thing they call from a blocked number and leave a message for you (or a different person) to call them back at this number 855-984-0801. They are calling my number for a distant aunt that I haven't seen or talked to in over 20 yrs! No clue how or why they have my #. I dont even have her #! They block their # when they call and they leave voicemails (sometimes). The last call I recieved was from "David from Dispatch Service Center" that was trying to reach "me" to serve me papers and something else I couldnt hear at all and then something about a failure to appear. I called them back to say stop calling me, you have the wrong # and the guy interrupted me. He told me I was being rude, calling him at his job and he doesnt even know who I am? HA!! I said bologne, you are the one who just left me a voicemail! And then he cut me off again and told me if i received a voicemail from that company then Im the one that is being served for not paying my bills not him and started to go off on me about not being responsible, etc. etc...! What the??? Extremely rude people! If he would have listened to the first words I said is that they have the WRONG number! This has nothing to do with me!!! Ive reported to the FCC and plan to follow this up with my local police dept for harrassment charges!  These people are crazy. Id love to know why they have my contact info.

This is a scam. They called about a relative and spoke about them being sued and that they need to call their office back. When I questioned them, they hung up. They call themselves Lexington Law. They make fun of you when you ask if the call is being recorded.

You're right nothing but a scam.  Business is not done this way in the state of Texas. However; in this state an attorney may serve papers.  I know because my husband is a reputable process server.  I am going to call our local sheriff department and turn them in; let them listen to the recording.  ----- Thanks for your info.

Left a voicemail claiming to be from a county process server (I know they weren't because I know the process server personally)  Left a number (which doesn't answer) and case number.  Also claiming that the phone call is proof of service.

anonymous  number called my cell phone and said they wanted to verify that I would show up to court on behalf of my husband. I asked what this was regarding and they said that since we live in the same house, I would need to show up to court. I asked what court? and he got really rude and hung up on me.

I have received several calls from someone claiming to be from Proccess server dispatch. They leave a voicemail saying there are court documents that are coming back undeliverable. The last call said this was their final attempt to contact me and that I have been notified. When I called the number back, no answer. Their number came up unknown on my cell phone. I’m quite convinced that this is a scam but wish the calls would stop.
