Message came as a blocked/private caller from Maria Hunt. Something about a pending delivery of legal documents to my home or place of employment. A callback # of 855-984-0813 and a reference # was provided. Then she said this was my last notification and good luck.

Maria hunt left a voicemail on my nonpublished wireless phone from a blocked number using my real name.  Telling me to refer to some case number when I call back. Stated they will send someone to my last known work address and legal documents had to be signed between 2p-5p and someone needed to be home. I’ve had the same wireless number for 18 years. Worked for a major telecommunications company for10. There has been a surge of these scam calls to my wireless phone in the last 2 years. I believe our information has either been sold or scammers are working with ppl on the inside. I don’t know. What I do know is the limited amount of people that do have my number. And I’ve listed my number on 2 of my credit card accounts but that’s it. Somehow these ppl are getting our information.

Same thing just happened to me.

Same as above they also seem to have my last four digits of my social security number. Asshats.

Did anyone ever get the legal documents?

No one can get something that does not exist.  This is an extortion attempt using the "process server" tactic.  Go to your State Attorney General's website to learn how debt collection is supposed to work and to report these crooks.

I just got a call from an unknown number. I don't answer unknown numbers so I let it go to voicemail. The lady stated something that I couldn't understand before stating her name was Lisa Louis from the Department of Legal Services about a "Final Disposition". She had my full name and the last 4 of my social security number. She said she was calling to verify information before sending out paperwork but I wasn't available. She said my legal representative could call them at (855) 984-0813 if I had any questions and she gave me a 5 digit claim number. I've received phone calls in the past from the so called Dept of Legal Services and they told me I had an outstanding loan of $1500 and I HAD to pay them or they would have me arrested. However, when asked who the loan was through they would not reply. I do not have any outstanding loans and have been watching my credit reports closely. Last time they gave me 3 different phone numbers (which I do not remember at this time since it was 3+ years ago). I will not be calling this number back because of the fact that I do not have any outstanding loan or payment and I have done nothing to require a court/warrant. These people are scams and I hope someone else does not fall for this.

I called the number 8559840813 after I received a private call giving me a claim number I asked what the name of the company was and they said he North Lynn Group. I then said and where are u located they said hey had different locations I then said I looked up your number and it states you are a scammer and I’ve reported you they hung up on me real quick.

Voicemail left from this number.
"This message is intended for (my full name). This is Maria Hunt. I am contacting you in regard to a scheduled delivery of legal documents that will require your signiture. This is a courtesy call prior to documents being delivered to your place of residence and place of employment. If you have any questions or concerns, or to schedule a delivery, you can contact the (something like complaintant party? couldn't understand.) at 855 984-0813. Again that number is 855 984 0813. When returning your call, please refer to case number (GU177?). Thank you and you have officially been notified."

The caller used decent English, and if i were to place the "accent" I would guess she sounded like an African American woman, possibly from Kansas City or Chicago?

I chose to look up the number prior to calling it back, and have chosen not to call after having done so.

I remember vaguely getting an email stating that my account information from some place I cannot remember stating that they had been hacked and information such as social security number and phone number had been stolen along with millions of others by hackers. Don't know if this is related but it is possible?
