Unknown number left voicemail about a case that I was summoned they had my first and last name.  And left 855 984 0850 number to call back.  This is a scam.

Total scam trying to claim I owe a debt never even heard of the company they said I owed the debt they insisted I was Jenny route when I'm a Ginny masterson never been married they said consider me served

This is a total scam.  Called saying they were coming with court papers and I would need a lawyer.  Number came up unknown.  Woman sounded shady.  I called the police who told me to report the name and number to the FBI. Don't fall for this.

Called stating they have legal documents that are in process of being served to me today by 5pm.  Gave this phone number and case number.  Also had called on 1/26/18, and they referenced in this call that they had tried to deliver the documents then and the attempt failed, so now the information was handed to their office. SCAM!

Same thing happened to me. I'm sick of these people.

Since I didn't write down the case number he looked my husband's name up couldn't find anything.

Just got a call from a James Winton - he acted like a ass. I tried to get any and all information from him and he wouldn't send it to me - just said I was trying a stall tactic. Has all my information and called my work office. Also said I've been paying on this bill for 7 years and they sent me letters neither of which have happened.

A very rude Process Server called on behalf of Douglas Law Firm.  Stating that they had tried to reach out to me several times but had no luck, And that this was in regards to a Civil Matter in Louisiana. A state I haven't lived in over 20 years.  Couldn't provide any other details... And became very hostile when I said that this was a scam

The scammers are posing as Douglas and Associates to try and pretend they are a legitimate business called "Douglas Emmett Incorporated" (they used to be known as Douglas Emmett and Company.  They are using one of Douglas Emmett's legitimate building addresses with no suite address to mail the payment.  Someone must be intercepting the mail.  Reported to the FBI.
