Stated the were process servers with an attorneys  company and that they needed papers served for Clark county.

Received call yesterday saying they had legal documents for my dad to sign in Harris county. Got into an argument with their main guy and they had mine and my sisters phone numbers and dob. Claimed to be Adlemore Acquisition Associates, but i looked them up and could not find anything on them. Not sure what to think of it.

Called and said I had a pending court action for a bill incurred way back in 2002.....pretty sure this had been taken care of and no court cases against me showed up when I searched, scam likely

Received a call from a Leslie Meyers she first call my son and then called me. Leslie had some of my personal information and stated that I had a $3000 dollar debt and stated that I have a court settlement and said my job did not want me served all fraud the account she mentioned was actually settled more that ten years ago. I told her that in California there is a statute of limitations I contacted my employers regarding this none of which heard about this company after speaking to the woman she became irate and hung up.

Told us a complaint was lodged against us.  To call this number and provide a reference # that she gave on the phone message. Said if we did not respond appropriate action would be taken.  And that they phone call was being logged and noted.  I think it was a scam. I did not call the number back.

I received a call from (855) 984-0925. I am in my 70’s. The lady spoke with what I consider an American accent and gave her name and the company name for which she worked. She stated she had tried to contact my son about an urgent legal matter, but was unable. She knew his full name and my full name. I suggested I could take a message. She gave me a return phone number and reference number and again stated it was very important that my son contact them back as soon as possible about these important legal documents. Later in the day I called the number back and a male answered stating a company name. I asked that he repeat the company name and he hung up on me. I entered the phone number in google and thankfully found this site. My call was very similar to the last Call reported on this site. I just want others to be made aware so they will not be taken advantage of.

They just called me saying all the same things!!  I think they can just try and scam people out of money....

Have received several similar calls from different name.  They claim to represent a legal firm, but never name the firm.  They provide a case number and say the call is about a complaint files against me. The language they use sounds plausible and scary.  I contacted my local police department. They said to ignore the call, block the number and don't share any personal info.  They keep finding ways around the block.  This call was from 2155651170, but left 8559840925 as the call back number for the unnamed firm.

SCAM  Do not even acknowledge.

Was called because they said theirs a complaint filed on my brother and they had his full name and  date of birth but I told them more likely it's not my brother because my brother doesn't cause problems.. I asked for the county or city it was issued but they said they couldn't provide the info but they gave me this and I called my counties
district  court confirmed it was fraudulent  Case# 700752TX attorney #1 855 750 2028

855-750-2028 was the number they told me to call, they told me all the above things others have posted however they even managed to use the last 4 digits of my SS#, I've been harrassed by debt collectors in the past and these people used the same tactics and were very convincing, I almost gave them my debit card info but was at work and requested to call back at a later time. They were very aggressive, rude, demanded immediate payment or threatened court proceedings even stated they had tried to serve me papers at my home and by mail,even told me my address. The first red flag was when they tried to serve me at my home, I live in a gated community that requires mine or the managers permission to enter if you are not a resident and the manager would have contacted me before allowing them entry. Not to mention I'd been home sick for several days no one knocked on my door. I also happened to be cleaning up my credit report the last few days and new that this debt was no longer on my record. I have to wonder if one of the credit bureaus Experian, trans union and Equifax sold my info cause now I get spam mail all the time since I signed up for my free credit reports.

This “law firm” has been calling myself as well as 3 of my family members regarding an issue and person that are in no way linked to me. They call from a phone from phone numbers alike, with a variation of last four digits. While leaving messages for myself and leaving messages for my family members, threatening law suits, federal law issues, warrants and arrest threats, I have called this office myself as well as speaking with their “call center” to let them know, I am not the person they are trying to contact. In doing so, I’ve been hung up on, cursed at, told “I don’t listen well, have rainbows shooting out of your ***** Absolutely no professionalism, harassment, worst part is they have been notified on several occasions they have the wrong person, they have the knowledge, which is on recording and the actual person will not be obtaining the documents which will likely turn into a federal suit, as this firm has stated. With this knowledge this form is not following legalities regarding myself or this other person. I was not aware any reputable law firm would ever conduct business in this manner. This other person is not justly being contacted or provided the information, per law, as she should be. Local law Enforcement contacted.
