I just got a call from this company via phone number 323.952.8032 telling me to call 855.999.8042 with a case number regarding a civil suit.  Because I am always timely in paying my bills, my son and I began to investigate.  He did call and attempt to speak to someone but they refused to speak to him.  I then began to google and found this information.

Received call on my cell phone from +3239528032...Which looks extremely suspicious..Let go to voicemail which they (highland financial) left me same message saying civil case filed against me to call 855-999-8042 for more information.   When returned call from different phone, they ask for case number or phone number which they had originally called.  Then placed me on hold only to come back on and proceed to ask for date of birth.  I in turn asked they provide me with information regarding whom was filing the case and informed them i had not given them permission to contact my cell phone seeing they are a business. The lady immediately hung up phone on me

When I called the 855 number I also got a lady on the line. I mentioned that I had contacted the BBB and they had no record of them. She said they aren't required to register and it costs thousands of dollars and that the BBB is just a glorified Yelp. She was extremely rude and when I asked to speak to her supervisor she told me she was the floor manager and I wouldn't be speaking with anyone higher. Then she told me the only people above her are the attorneys. I told her I needed a way to verify legitimacy of the company and she gave me the same Menifee address. I told her that is a PO box and asked for a physical address, she said that they don't give that out for security reasons. I asked for a website or anything to verify who they are and she got mad and told me I had no business calling their number. She also said the 323 number (accurate location info) was a locating agency that helps them locate who they need to serve. I called the 323 number back and it goes straight to a mailbox that is full. BBB has no record of either "business", nor did the FTC.

Just recieved a call about a pending civil case from an outstanding cell phone bill from 2003. A supposed process server told me to call the 8559998042 number. They had my name and my social security number. I gave them my birthday. Now I'm really worried that theses scammers have my personal information and want to know what is the best way to protect myself from fraud.

They said they were "Accurate Location Information" and that I was about to be sued in civil court.  No one does that.  It was some kind of scam.

Got a call from my father in law that this company had called, they left him a file number. I called back and didn't listen to my gut and fell for the scam. I've since filed a report with the atty general and placed fraud alerts on my accounts and canceled my debit card. I thought I was smarter than that but I guess they can get anyone.

This company has already been reported to the Federal Bureau of Investigations for extortion and fraud, so goodluck with that

I received the following message on my voice mail from phone # 323-952-8032:
"This is Shawnie calling from ACCURATE LOCATION INFORMATION.  There is a potential civil complaint being filed against you.  You need to call 855-999-8042 to receive information pertaining to this matter."
I immediately filed a complaint regarding this with DoNotCall.gov

I got the same exact message. So glad I googled the  855 number. This thread was the first that came up. Thought it was weird to get a call with these area codes for a civil complaint when I live in Florida.

I was taken aback, I went to speak again and the lady said "I told you to remain quite and respect me and my job."  Went to speak again and she hung up. I called back 3 times the third time she threatened me with harassment charges... SCAM

My ex boyfriend said he got a call from highland park financial services looking for me and gave him a case number and for me to call 855 999 8042. I called and was asked the case number she put me on hold and came back saying that i was about to be sued in civil action against me on an outstanding 1999 to 2004 Verizon bill i had owed. When i questioned her what Verizon service it was what address it was for and how that was possible because i didn't have Verizon in 1999 she immediately hung up on me. I called the number back of course to find out about this civil action and was asked the case number and the young woman was very convincing and i fell victim to her scam she gave me her name and said she would be the one to handle my case i gave her my card number & made a payment plan until i spoke to my ex and he told me to cancel my card asap because he heard of this and they would not contact him directly if it was a true debt. They almost got me but i canceled my credit card that night. Their tactic is to try to scare you and soeak over you. Do not fall for it. Once you start to ask too many questions they hang up but the lady that answered when i called back was more experienced in gaining your trust. SCAM

These people called stating I was going to court for a debt from 1996 and it's 2015.

They said that I had a debt from 2003.  I reported them to the Government.

I got the same call they are very bad they are scammers

For those who actually believe Real Process severs don't call, you are badly mistaken.    I have been a process server for just about forty years and have been making phone calls to people I was looking for since about day one.  I, like the person who may have made that phone call, never tell a lie.  I will tell the person  named who I am, why I need to see them and we mostly decide when and where is convenient to both of us.

You get way more flies with honey than you do with vinegar.  Never sneak up on a person.  You`ll never serve them a second time, let me tell you.
