I recieved a call from a "no number" and was given the story of court ordered summon. They said they have been trying to reach me for the past 6 months, but they only had a P.O. address. I was not willing to provide a physical to them so they gave me (863) 808-0371 and a case number, and was told the client wanted me to provide my own lawyer. She said good luck then hung up. So I contacted the worldwide ppl and they said i was being charged with theft, fraud and forgery of finacial instrument, and it was like i took the money and ran. They were charging me for a credit card from 2001, 11 years later i here of this matter? I was being sued for $4800. and the summon will provide all info and can settle at that time. I was pretty disturbed of this matter and was sure I was dealing with a case of mistaken identity. I have tried calling back and get no answer. Thankfully I came home and type this number straight in the search bar and read a few more stories just like mine. SCAM!!!

They contacted me a few weeks ago. They were able to help me get my cased settled the same day. I revived my conformation letter the next day. Now I'm in good standing with the company that was suing me. Very polite people. Thank you so much for your help.

I received a call  from a person and the calller  was unknown as the number  she directed me to call the
the 8 63 number. they said they had warrant for me ,but the last name was not mine. I became suspicious when I wondered how they got my phone number and address and my last name was wrong

Just receievd a phone call from this company stating that I owe money on a account from 2001 that I closed out in 2008 because I wanted to buy a house. The woman told me good luck in court on the phone and hung up. Is this real???

never got anything in the mail from the company that is so called "suing" me or this company since I closed it out in 2008...so i ask again...is this real?

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. Anyone who believes you is as big an idiot as you are. I am SO SICK and tired of seeing people posing on this website, pretending to be someone who these slimebuckets "help". THIS IS SOMEONE WHO WORKS FOR THE COLLECTOR - do not believe for a second that this post is legitimate!!! NEVER, EVER give out any information, ESPECIALLY credit card, bank or financial! They will bleed you dry and ruin your finances even worse... ignore ignore ignore them!!

Has anyone received any court documents? I'm wondering if this company is for real.

I received the same voice message as described in other posts. A person identifies themselves with the "title" of investigator to sound "official". The messages states that I has been named in a complaint and that a court order to "appear" has been filed. The message also states that I should forward the case info to my attorney and respond in 24 to 48 hours.

I do get collection call on occasion. This is clearly another scare tactic to intimidate me to return the call so they can apply hard pressure and additional threats to get me to pay or partial settle.

Common sense and a little reading on local county court procedure says that a formal Subpoena (to appear in court) has to be delivered by an officer or agent of the court.

So this is definitely smells like a debt collection scare tatic!

I had the same thing happen to me that Dan described.  I have no idea who they are really working for, but I do know this is a scam.

Just received a call from this number today. So tired of these scams just like were mentioned above. Calling from private numbers and gave out this number above. So called Investigator Leslie Wright. I have been dealing with this scam for 2 years now and they were able to successfully get money from me the first time... Never, Never Again!!!! I pray for justice and relief from these frauds and any like them... They deserve exactly what God has instored for them...

i got a call from leslie wright stating that a complaint was filed n my name and a restraining oder against me form 863# i haven't rtn'd her call yet. if i owed anybody it was inclosed on my bankrupty papers.

My father just let me know about a message on the answering machine that might be for me because it involves criminal activity. I'm thinking, damn not again what did I do now. Not that I haven't had my share of wrongful deeds but damn, I've done my time. The message sounds ridiculous from the gate since he was attempting to sound so creepy. Attorneys dont leave messages trying to sound like Clint Eastwood about to rearrange your face over the telephone.

I admit the affidavit number and contact number (863-808-0371) I wrote down got me spooked since I didn't know what the hell I did?! Apparently theres a case and a restraining order on me or whatever the f*ck. This isn't the first time my family got scammed into believing this new age crime style.

So I called the number and was on hold for 14 minutes and never talked to a real person. I was dying to hear a punjabi named "Bob Smith" or "Bill Jones" get on the mic and start yelling at me just about a debt I owed for a whole 24 hours! Come on now now playa playa...meanwhile I'm awarded with nice elevator music while I was taking a nice crap, listening to crap, and the crappy surroundings of a household getting scammed because they simply believe they're right. Well another point goes to the scammers for tricking people but luckily I've lived a far from ordinary life and can distinguish this for what it is and show them tangible evidence.

Quit it already, I'm not a good criminal and neither are you guys. F'n wack!

Received a call from this number at my job.  I've received several calls over several years from various numbers claiming that I have 24 hours to contact them in regards to fraud, or some other illegal activity.  I've made it through several 24 hour threats and I still haven't been picked up kicking or screaming from my job, nor have I ever received any type of correspondence from these individuals.  What's funny is when they call and say we are trying to arrange a convenient time to serve you???? really, since when do you make an appointment to serve someone, the whole idea of serving someone is the element of surprise, Oh, did I mention I work at a law firm.  Half of the messages I get sound really stupid, I will admit that when I initially started receiving these scam calls I would get really worried but then I started finding sites such as this and realized that I'm not the only person getting the idiotic phone calls. Today's call was from Steven Parker, who als said that there was a criminal investigation against me, and a restraining order against me???? restraining order for what???? aren't restraining order suppose to keep you away from someone??? I don't know who these idiots think they are, but first and foremost if you are trying to reach someone, the first step would be to send out some type of correspondence first and then give the person a chance to respond. My advice to anyone who receives these calls, HIT THE IGNORE BUTTON!!

I received a call from this company today. After calling back and finding out what they were looking they told me i was being sued for a payday loan that I did not pay back. When asking more questions I found out that I supposedly received funds in October of 2011. But the account had been closed since Jan 2010. When i told them that the man began to struggle with what to say. Then he told me he would check with the company and that he is sure that the company will settle out of court. I told him to do that but there was no way I was going to pay them. Then after I got off the phone I googled both the payday advance company and this company(Worlwide Processing Network) and I find it funny that neither of them have a website!!!! I have since tried calling back and no one is answering the calls!!!! Friggen scammers!!!
