This number shows up as Navesys Incorporated at 863-808-4235 on my caller ID. We were getting calls from this number 2 to 3 times per day for over a week, and just let them roll to voicemail, where they never left a message. Yesterday, I finally picked up out of curiosity. It was a company selling timeshares asking if I would be attending a free dinner in my area. I said no and asked to be removed from their list. The very next day, the calls started up again. When I picked up a 2nd time, it was the same question (and actually sounded like the same person). When I complained about the constant calls and asked to be taken off their list again, the person claimed that this was the first time they had ever called us and hung up!  This is obviously an auto-dialing telemarketing company.

The fact is that most of the calls being reported here are from either shady companies or down-right crooks.  They know the chances of being caught in violation of the DNC are absurdly low.  I doubt Navesys keeps track of Do Not Call requests.  You can block the calls, that is one way to get your privacy back.

Since it looks like the company address can easily be found on the internet, a certified, return receipt "stop calling me" letter, along with complaints to the proper agencies, and a TCPA lawsuit that will get you $500 or more per call will generally get the message across.

Multiple calls throughout the day beginning about some weeks ago.  Neither my wife nor I answered when the calls came in, but I decided to answer the phone yesterday and today. The caller promptly terminated the call without speaking.  Very annoying--the calls, the number of calls per day at all hours, and not speaking when I do answer.  Next call I get from Navesys will generate a complaint to the Attorney General of my State. This is harassment pure and simple.
