East Indian accent. Wanted to verify my phone, if I was taking new patients, if I see First Health clients. Said they're from Aetna. Didn't ask for anything else. May be legit.

Called asking if a certain dr I've never heard of was accepting new patients. When I said I'd never heard of him, wanted me to verify that he used to be at my business address. When I said I'd been there over 20 yrs and had never heard of him, she asked for my name - which, of course, I didn't give.

I received the same call

I work in a Urgent Care Clinic in Alabama, they call with a heavy accent wainting to verfiey providers from this clinic They say they are calling and saying they are with Aetna.  Myself and the other PCS get the same calls. It's annoying they call all day just about everyday.  I ask my regional manager she said don't give out any any information on anything about the providers.

Same call that others reported. Calling to see if we are accepting new patients. I referred him to our website for more information.

I just received a call asking to speak to me. It was a heavy Indian accent.  They asked if I was accepting new patients and asked if I had ever practiced at the address he said.  The address was another location of the practice that I am a part of but I have never been there.  He said he was from Aetna confirming providers. When I told him he could call the office then he thanked me and hung up.

called and asked for details of physician (if they were in practice, currently practicing at x office, accepting new patients, current patients could still schedule with physician, and the physician's title), also asked for my name. Caller was friendly based off my interaction. Looked up the number on Whitepages and says the phone number traces to South Carolina.

I just rcvd the same call asking for the same information
