I received a TEXT yesterday from 866-202-6076, telling me to sign a contract & there was a link. Obviously, I'm not opening that. People beware!

Received text from 866-202-6076 from Joe Penland and Dave Walker. Appears to be a political add based on a David M. Walker (Former U.S. Comptroller General) post on Linkedin.  Page states....
"Joe Penland and I met with Speaker Johnson for about an hour on the Contract From the American People...."  I wouldn't sign anything Republican related.

Text read: "Please review and sign the contract here: [link]. Your support is key for our future! Joe Penland & Dave Walker"

I got the same message and like you, not clicking but looking that number up on Google. 😂 Then I block and delete.

just rec'd SAME text from SAME # WTH!  CREEPY!  get away from my phone #!  privacy is soon OBSOLETE!

If iPhone can determine Scam Callers why can't it also handle Scam Texts?
