NDG your right, I just got a call from this number again. I didn't get a chance to answer it.

I have got calls from the number before, they leave messages asking for someone who do not live here. So I finally answered and they said that this person not name had my phone no. which I have had for 20 yrs. I ask them who they were and they said Research Insergant. I have know idea who they are. I told them this would be reported to the phone company and I am on the Do Not list, it doesn't help.

It's Resurgent Capital Mortgage...beware, if you're only 1 day late with your mortgage payment they will call you several times a day!
Someone told me they will send someone to your door to drop off paperwork until you make your payments current!  Bad Company...

These idiots called 10 times in one day! You ask for a Bill of Particulars requesting that they provide proof of a balance due and they do not!!! I am so tired of these $7.00/hr telemarketers!!! They need to get a life

Stop calling this number!!!!! We owe you nothing, find a real job and leave us the--------alone.

They call at least 5 times a day, have actually left a message spoken so fast. No one could decipher it and when we spoke to them,   They claimed it was a personal business matter that required the last 4 digits of ss#. Still calling after my lawyer husband told them to F off. We have no loans or business with this company.

Got a couple calls with no message left. Looked it up, turns out its a number associated with NewRez - a mortgage company that recently bought mortgages from PHH. Doesn't necessarily mean it's safe, but if you've had a mortgage with PHH then it might just be NewRez calling about the recent transfer of mortgage ownership.
With all stuff like this, if you answer and it sounds legitimate, tell them you'll call them back at the official number on the website due to security concerns. Don't give anyone who called you your private info, just in case it's a scam, due to how easily companies can spoof the caller number.
