received an email with this number stating it was a subscription renewal for Nõrtøn Freedom Protection. Called the number and they were trying to tell me that we were possibly scammed and needed to cancel the subscription, and they would direct me to a website to fill out a form. This is not Norton's Antivirus phone number and we don't have a subscription.

It is definitely a scam.  They will ask you various questions so that they can drain your bank account.

Got the same email as RA. Never even heard of these guys. Will be alerting my bank first thing in the morning. It's obviously a scam.

Same email. Called and answerer clearly not Norton when the guy picked up.  Hung up.

Warning this is a complete scam and not affiliated with norton antivirus. Its a compnay out of india and are trying to take your money. Do not do amything they ask and if you do talk to them tell them you have alerted the authorities.

Received a text from them about a bank account not paying an item. After a little research looks like another scam

Received a text from this number, "(-BAnk Call us for more details: 8662070547. Your BQA Payment $879.94 has been denied.)"

After doing some research the only thing I could find online for what BQA stood for was Beef Quality Assurance. This is definitely a scam!
