I've received a call from this number 4 times today with the most recent to posting this being 7:13PM.

I have no idea who this is but I'm also not interested in finding out.

It's Hillary for President.

I answered, and the person at the other end asked for my husband, who was not home.  When I asked if he would care to leave a message, he said that he was from "a non-profit that my husband had supported" and that he would call back another time.  I didn't ask which "non-profit" it was...

866-207-3162 called 3 times while I was watching an Eric Clapton interview. It was the Brady gun control group--a cause I believe in. I informed them I will never send them another  cent if they call me again, a pledge I will indeed keep.

League of Women Voters wanted a donation

They said they were Outreach Associates calling for  the Democratic Campaign for the Senate.  I told them I was eating. They (she) politely went away but I'm sure they'll be back

Caller apparently wanted to talk to my wife, as she had donated to a charity in the past that the caller claimed to represent. I said what charity. Caller said James Brady campaign against gun violence. I said I doubted my wife gave any money to that organization. Caller hung up.

Caller, identified herself as "Tabitha" but refused to answer the question "What organization are you calling from?" and immediately hung up. It's quite disturbing that when calling the number back, the automated message does not identify the organization at all...simply stating that they are exempt from 'do not call' lists because they are a "non-profit" organization. They may be... but they are NOT exempt from identifying themselves when they make calls to the general public.

This number has called my cell phone at least once a day for the past week.
There is no one on the line when I answer and they never leave a message on my voice mail.

This CID appears at least daily. The caller hangs up after listening to our answering machine's message.

called - I picked up and said nothing.  I waited and then hung up.  Answering the call and ignoring the caller costs the calling company money.  Always answer and say nothing.  put them on mute until they hangup.

Is there not an organization to whom we can complain?  I mean, aren't these 866#s regulated??  Just because they're exempt from the Do Not Call list doesn't mean that they can take harass us.  Don't we have rights??
These calls are DRIVING ME NUTS!

Always call about 7pm pacific time. Never leave a message. Never anyone there if I answer. No answer if I call back. WTF is the point!?

call, rings 6 times, answering machine picks up, nothing.  happens numerous times a day.  i've taken to clicking the "TALK" button on my phone, then immediately disconnecting.  cuts down on the rings.

called 6 times in the last two days.  hang-up / no message.

Left no message.
