I received a txt message from this number.  Appears to be a legitimate automated message from my cell phone provider, Verizon: "You're on track to exceed your usage limit ...."

Continue to call...several times-several days-never leave a message

I got the same message last week.  I went online to my Verizon account to check the balances and they are no where near the max.  Don't know what happened.

I just got one too & no where near my maximum????

just got a text message from this number, checked my minutes and data both from contact list & am still good.  Almost wonder what's going on w/the Verizon phones???

Samething.  Got a message from VERIZON, that I was over.  I called the 611 number and apparently I am (of course one of the kiddies)!

I received a text message to call this number. The message read:
From 900-070-004849 Free VZW msg. you are on track to incur overage charges for Minutes, Data or Message. Acct owner: call 866-207-3618 or dial #MIN&#DATA to check usage. CF: 866-207-3618 Aug 25, 633 pm.

This sounded fishy to me so I checked my account and I am not even close to over on minutes, and the text is paid for per each text, so overages do not apply. If dialed the second number on a regular phone the number is 364-683-3282 which is a number in Kentucky. (?) I did not call either number.

I noticed that others have had untraceable texts or calls from this number.

Got called no msg. Verizon marketing call....asked to be put on the no-call list. I told them I don't take unsolicited calls...hopefully it won't happen again.

Nice bloke just wanted to walk me through my first Verizon bill, using my phone, etc. A little pedantic but very good gesture. Glad I switched providers.

I missed a call from 866-207-3618.  When I called back, the male on the other end of the line had no intro and said are you call from (my phone number).  Can I get the last 4 digits of the account holder's SSN?  I then asked the male what this is about and was told classes for my mobile phone.  

I told the guy that he was crazy and that I would call a number I recognize from Verizon Wirless and if I am sent back to him I would talk to him.   When I called Verizon, they confirmed that they in fact made the call to me and that they are doing this to educate callers on their phones.  

Told Verizon that they need to do something about the delivery of that initial phone call because everything about was RED FLAGS.  

Long story short, the number was legitimately VERIZON WIRELESS.

Received a missed call from this number also,  Left no VM message.  I did not call it back

Accidentally left my phone at home today and when I got back I had a missed call from this number.  No voice mail was left.  Judging by the other responses it was probably indeed Verizon calling to ask if I was interested in attending one of their 'how to use your shiny new smartphone' courses.
