So did I.  I don't answer numbers if I don't know who they are from

I just got a call on my cell from this number. Rang for a short time and they hung up.

Called my cell phone two days in a row, after 4PM, rang a couple of moments and then hung up.

I keep getting repeat calls from this number. I do not know who this is as I don't answer. I looked it up online and it seems others are having the same problem/concern. This call comes in on my cell.
I would like to report and stop these calls.

Just got called from this #; answered it and it turned out to be this ex-Playboy bunny who was feeling down and needed someone to speak with.  After all was said and done, she is flying in tomorrow.

Ha ha.

Tempted to call back, but it may be one of those $500 per minute off-shore numbers.

keep getting calls from this number and when I answer there is silence...I called back the and it belongs TO VERIZON WIRELESS, they deny they call and I said it comes on the phone, I wasnt nice about what they should do to stop the calls.

I too keep getting calls from this number, but did not answer. Whoever it is, they call several times a day and for two days as of the writting of the message. My motto is if I don't recognize the phone number, I don't answer. If it is important, they will leave a message. The problem with today's technology, is you have to put up the [***] or the 10% as my drill instuctor would say.

Just got a call from this number.  Charles, from PayPal, inquiring about my company website.  

Got a call from this number extension 65552. Said he was Victor from PayPal and that they wanted to discuss a partnership with me and my online business. Asked for my email address which I did not give. PayPal customer service told me it is Not A PayPal Number and that the call is from Verizon.

Yep.  I've had calls from this # on my answering machine.  She claims to be "Brie" from PayPal, and needed to resolve some issue on our business acct.  But, since there was no indication through my PayPal acct that someone would be contacting me, I never called her back.  The extension she gave me was 65591.  

Claimed to be PayPal but in a voice message BUT I called PayPal back from the number listed on their website and they knew nothing about it.  The PayPal rep checked their system and neither the extension left in the message nor the number called from exist in their system. It is a scam.  PayPal said they will always send an email from a VERIFIABLE source if they need to reach you. You can always check their emails using the spoof@paypal.com checking service.

I sure am glad I found these posts. I also have a message from this number claiming to be from PayPal regarding setting up PayPal for our online store. As anyone who runs an online business knows, had I agreed, they would have gotten access to our business checking account and probably drained every nickle from it overnight. These guys needs to be caught and put in jail. I'm surprised Paypal isn't all over them.
